My journey with @Argos_Online:

1.) Ordered an office chair on March 18th.
2.) It arrived on March 20th... with a massive HOLE on the box (see attached). The driver said "it's fine" and "nothing is missing".
3.) Something WAS missing (shocker!): the screws. All of them.
4.) Called Argos. Took 20 mins to get through. The "advisor" said I could collect a replacement chair a few miles away. On foot. During a pandemic. With a box the size of my entire body. Um... no.
5.) She ordered replacement screws instead.
6.) They arrived on March 25th...
7.) SOME ARE MISSING (see attached).
8.) I call Argos. Took 34 mins to get through. They agree to send the missing screws.
9.) They arrived on March 27th. They're all there!
10.) Then I try to build this cursed chair...
11.) Aaaand the "A" screws (which I already have) are faulty. Only one fits correctly. I have to really FORCE two in (and they're not in fully) and one is clearly broken & can't turn (see attached).
12.) I tried calling Argos on Saturday. I hung up after 31 mins of being on hold.
13.) Called just now. Been on HOLD for 35 minutes. Got through. They're sending more replacement screws.

CONCLUSION: Ordered a chair on March 18th and all I have is a pile of chair parts, a bad back, minus 2 hours of my life (on hold to Argos) and a £150 hole in my bank account.
The journey continues!

14.) I received a new SEAT on Weds... but no bolts.

15.) It is now Sat 4th April. Still no bolts.

So I have TWO seats & no bolts!

16.) Also @Argos_Online asked me to DM them three days ago, so I did... and that was it. No response.

GIVE ME A REFUND.
17.) Called again. Took 35 mins of infuriating hold music, but finally got through & passed onto a manager. Apparently I can't get a refund at this time, so that's... yeah.

19.) Aaaaand they're sending MORE bolts. Maybe they'll arrive. Maybe they won't! IT'S A THRILL RIDE!!
