For some context - I actually stopped using Always in high school cuz it used to irritate me but when they announced the “reformulation” I thought I would give them another shot. So, the first few days (I got this really heavy three week period last month and whenever that happens and I have to use pads, I use Cottons) were ok. Then I started feeling some sort of irritation but I somehow convinced myself that it was all in my mind because, high school.

Anyway, I decided to ignore it and just stuck it out throughout the duration of my menses, some time last week but one. I’m the past when I used to use it, it actually burned my inner thigh area... that didn’t happen this time which is perhaps why I ignored.

Anyway last week fikas and suddenly my lady bits flare up, got a very painful pimple and it was soooo soooo itchy and I found myself itching to the point where I felt like I was hurting myself. Still didn’t make the connection.

Against better judgement (I know, I know) I waited till today, that’s when I finally went to get it checked out. They ran some tests and turns out I have an infection. We eliminated all the possible causes and the only one left was a change in my routine by going back to Always.

The doctor who treated me said it’s a thing she’s actually seen and that many ladies actually complain of the irritation caused by Always. So yeah, that’s what happened.

I’ve also shared my feedback with them on IG, so I hope they acknowledge it as well as the other complaints highlighted on this thread. Also in the interest of full disclosure, I received the initial products in a PR package but I also bought some more once I ran out.
