This is the first peer-reviewed study characterizing cytokine profiles, CD4 count and T cell function in SARS-CoV-2-infected individuals. Cytokine storm correlates with disease severity.

@FilippoVeglia81 @VirusesImmunity We don't know about how asymptomatic patients respond to SARS-CoV-2 yet. Immunologic study on immunologic responses of asymptomatic patients responded is urgently needed to direct human response to protective immunity.
