acnhcentral was one of the many fake accounts doing fake animal crossing switch giveaways, requesting only a retweet and follow. they would sometimes ‘giveaway’ up to 30 switches a day, meaning they gained a TON of followers.

people started noticing that winners were never announced and only ever “sent DMs”. the owner of the account then pretended to get hacked and changed it to bruhpattern, claiming they wanted to expose the scammers.

bruhpattern continues to tweet how they’re ‘exposing’ people and even made up some bs about doing their own giveaway. please don’t fall for any of these accounts. report them.

(i’m reposting this thread due to inconsistencies in the last one! but trust me... there’s more tea as we speak)

bruhpattern / uhpattern / ACNHcentral ended up tweeting, deleting, and deactivating:

Fun fact: they deactivated and I did too, for about 10 minutes.

Within those 10 minutes of me (and my callout tweets) being gone... they reactivated.

Look who else suddenly resurrected.... none other than ACNHcentral

I suspect more fake giveaways to come with that username change.

MAJOR SCAM ALERT!!! Do NOT send them money! This photo has been used multiple times between all of these scammers fake giveaway accounts. You will NOT receive a switch if you pay them.
