Why The Connect is Monsta X's best album and deserved so much better (a thread)

OK we will start this off with this is my OPINION so don't bite me and no i dont take constructive criticism with that in mind LETS GET INTO IT

So im just gonna go in order - Jealousy. She got a lot of disrespect since her MV was lower budget but we got
- pink kihyun & hyungwon
- top tier outfits
- “Why are you talking about Shownu now” is the most iconic line ever
- I just really loved this comeback
- deserved her win

Next is Destroyer. I remember when the Destroyer film came out the entirety of twitter lost its collective mind
- absolute cinematic masterpiece
- curly hair ki>>
- hackers jookyun>>
- if you dont rap changkyuns part at the top of your lungs you’re lying
- time god hyungwon

Fallin !!! If you have never seen this song live - it hits different live.
- The entire audience goes NUTS
- The way when this song came on during last tour in Dallas the entire venue was shaking from everyone jumping
- “Lee. Joo. Heon” right before jh’s rap >>>

Crazy in Love (my favorite song fight me)

- THIS SONG DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER
- This is one of their best B sides I don’t take constructive criticism
- “everything baby you are gonna make it” made me cry when I first heard it
- (it still does)
- I love the choreo so much

Lost in the Dream (also my favorite)

- ANOTHER TOP B SIDE
- Kihyun vocal god wbk
- This song live is an absolute masterpiece
- Starship bring this back from the dead please
- best live performance monsta x has ever done please i beg bring it back

If Only

- This song hurts on every level
- One look at the lyrics and its time to cry
- “If I wait here just a little, Will I be able to see you?”
- “I don’t want to be a memory” O U C H
- this was version 2 of 5:14 and boy did it hurt
- the video for it

Special

- starship i dont care what you say, changkyun says “oh shit”
- another song that HITS DIFFERENT LIVE

All in all this album was truly top tier and she got thrown to the side because Jealousy was disrespected. The Connect deserved better truly

honestly I think if you look at all the songs it had a variety. It really showcased the best from each member as well as what the group can do. Truly a versatile group and had a song for everyone. She. Deserved. BETTER.
