Rant time - I work in two fields, neither of which pays a whole lot. But it really works me that people are ordering in and either not tipping or tipping very little. Do you not tip your waiter/waitress in a restaurant? And you usually tip 15-20%, right?

Then can anyone tell me why delivery drivers are getting tipped like they make $$$$$$$? Examples are below from some of my DoorDashes over this last week. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE helping people, which is why I'm in my main line of work as a Home Health Aide

BUT!! I am a front line worker, bringing groceries AND hot cooked meals to everyone in quarantine, but barely any tips, despite many people imploring that folks tip their delivery drivers. The best tip I've gotten was on an alcohol delivery, and STILL wasn't 10%!
