It has been a very long week for lots of people. A huge thank you and cheers to everyone @SwanseaUni for pulling together to make things work. So much work goes on that nobody necessarily sees, so here are some thank yous from me:
All the students in Medicine and Human and Health Sciences who are deployed in the NHS at a massive time of need.

All the medics who have deployed back fully into the NHS to help save lives.

The engineers 3D printing visors and manufacturing parts for hospitals.
Everyone in communications for dealing with so many different questions round the clock and for making sure everyone is kept up to date.

Digital group for making everything work amidst such a sudden change in demand.
Everyone in estates, residential services and security for looking after those students who are still staying in Swansea.

@SwanseaUniSU for being outstanding, being there every day and for running vital services.

HR for dealing with hundreds of queries, sorting so many things.
There are so many people doing outstanding things, from Academic Services, Student Services, Directors of Learning and Teaching and so many, many more.

Our academic community is amazing and all have worked so hard to make things work. The teamwork has been epic.
Some will be having a tough time - they may be ill, worried, unable to see people they love. Some are juggling trying to work and look after kids.

Whatever is going on, stay safe and keep looking after each other.
