Maybe it’s time to plug my foodinsta again so here it is accompanied by a photo of tonight’s dinner 😛 red wine braised beef with garlic thyme potatoes and sour cream on top

Spaghetti and meatballs, but not in the usual style 😂
First time cooking couscous, alongside pre-marinated chicken chops and simple stir fried Chinese greens ☺️
Today’s dinner was a miso butter mushroom pasta with rosemary and failed Onsen egg
Lunch: fried chicken on pancakes
Dinner: japchae

I did what I sought to do 🥳

On the table tonight: Smoked turkey leg, roasted vegetables and Mediterranean-style couscous; Also I made caramel coated roasted macadamia nuts this afternoon 😗
Lazy lunch things: fried chicken chop

Aside from having to fish out the baking powder clumps in the batter, waffles turned out pretty good!
Okay not really a kitchen adventure for dinner because I didn’t make the otak2, but it looked too pretty not to share 😂

Also just baked this butter cake because mom likes butter cake. Cake at 11pm? Why the fuck not 😗
En voila! The spring chicken I marinated two nights ago, slow roasted til golden next to hasselback potatoes and broccoli/cauliflower
it was brunch time so we had brunch 😚

Oh forgot to update here! But today’s dinner was a simple one of minced pork porridge :)
Surprisingly, this is the first time I’ve baked a burnt cheesecake this year 😂 Baileys cheesecake ayy
Leftover beef stew from a few weeks ago, atop crispy couscous I just made using the same concept as a tahdig (not that this is an actual tahdig la)
Kimchi braised chicken or... kimchicken 😂 An original recipe that turned out really good!
