So, here's a thing I've decided to do, having stolen and adapted the idea from @CheapPanini who are doing daily football shirts. For every day on lockdown I'm going to wear a different band tee-shirt. This could be amusing after a while as many of them in the pile are medium. 1/

Welcome to Tuesday and the next band shirt. Today is @mysteryjets who are probably the loveliest and friendliest bunch you could hope to meet. Since the days of the Tea Time Forum through gigs and festivals they've been great friends. Zootime!!!

Another day in lockdown. Another band tee. @vaporsofficial get the nod today. The song News at Ten always reminds me of a canal boat holiday and of my bro @matt_dodeska and me discovering Carlsberg Special Brew!

Another #lockdownuk day, another lockdown tee. The next four are linked - all the bands at one of the best gigs I've ever been to! Kicking off with @KaiserChiefs who opened the night. Yes, it's the @NME Awards Tour 2005, 9 Feb in Brixton. 1/

I took a lifesize cutout of the head of @LucasRadebe and waved it during the set. Ricky crowdsurfed out to me and took it, placing it in front of the drums and worshipping it! What a gig that was! #lufc @Rickontour @KaiserChiefs 2/2

It's @NME Awards Tour. The second band on, following @KaiserChiefs was @BlocParty It was the first time I'd seen them but knew every single song of their unreleased album (dodgy download...). And yes, that's an original @pistolsofficial hanky I got Xmas Day 1977!

Third band on the bill at the #nme awards tour was @thefutureheads , the band who always have excellent support bands! I discovered @mysteryjets and @theenemyband amongst others thanks to them. Can't wait for the rescheduled Bedford gig!

Headliners were of course @thekillers who opened with Late Show then Andy You're a Star, then blasted an incredibly classy set at the packed Brixton Academy. At the end, all 4 bands came and took a bow together. I've seen them all many times since. One of the very best gigs ever!

The lockdown is 2 weeks old today. But, as @christt quite rightly sang, we can still win, so it's a Chris T-T tee today. If ever there was a time his songs are needed, it's now. #LockdownTeeShirts

It goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on, how I wish it would STOP! Today's #LockdownUK tee is of course @Buzzcocks . I was going to wear the Orgasm Addict one but my kids are here so it's Autonomy, with handwritten lyrics by @stephen_diggle behind me.

Shouldn't have gone to the Forbidden Zone, it's too late now and I'm all alone... Where's Captain Kirk? In isolation because of that trip to Tesco! Yes, today's #LockdownUK tee is @spizzenergi & the Spizz77 shirt from the 2012 lineup I was in. Brilliant bloke and so hard-working!

Behind me is another hand-written lyric, this being Where's Captain Kirk? And here's the tee shirt in action at the Enterprise in Camden.

#LockdownUK tee shirt today is @NineBlackAlps - saw them a good few times back in the noughties, the best of which was at the Leicester Charlotte, a venue that hosted some astoundingly top gigs.

Another #LockdownUK day and it's @theenemyband today - another band I saw multiple times. My favourite moment was pranking them at HMV Northampton when, as local police sergeant, I went and "briefed" them before a signing event. They didn't know I was a cop prior to this... 1/

2/... so they stood there listening and nodding until Andy slowly recognised me under the police cap and sussed it out! I wish I had photos of that - perhaps @tomclarkemusic still has them? Anyway, brilliant band, amazing live energy and really really nice blokes!

I'm not sure it's going to be a constructive summer, but I've got to hope that is only @theholdsteady that almost kill me. Yes, today's tee is in tribute to the best band out of the twin cities and features a line from Stuck Between Stations. Remember, words won't save your life

I'm on the fiddle today with @the_levellers and the oldest tee I can find. Got it at the Aston Villa gig in 1995. It was so loud my wife's ears were ringing for days afterwards! Didn't stop us seeing them many times since though. Roll on the new album & rearranged Aylesbury gig.

I'm going missing for a while - as we all are.I always feel a bit like Dennis the Menace when I wear my Maxïmo Park tee! Yes, @maximopark are today's band. Fabulous live act, such energy and class! Here's to The National Health!

And in the death, as the last few corpses last rotting in the slimy thoroughfare... Cheerful post-apocalyptic bantz from the subject of today's #LockdownUK tee, none other than my all-time fave @DavidBowieReal Only saw him once, MK Bowl, but he was such a life influence for me.

It's another #LockdownUK day and we're miles apart so I'm going to kiss away the sun cos we're all gonna die anyway. Yeah, a little more obscure than yesterday's Bowie, this is @lostsoulsclub - splendid but defunct shoegaze band I saw at @Blissfields back in 2012 - happy days!

Plenty of smokers outside the hospital doors at the moment, but the racing rats in this light and on this evening eat raw meat... @editorsofficial are today's #LockdownUK tee! Love this shirt, as you can see it's well worn and washed!

So it's Friday and #timstwitterlisteningparty tonight is @BSPOfficial "Decline of British Sea Power" so it seems natural to wear one of my dozen or so BSP tees. See you at 9pm with alcohol, naturally!

And until the sun is over the yardarm, it's more sedate liquids in the appropriate @BSPOfficial mug and the excellent autobiography of @AstroMCollins - a hero of my life!

I once appeared in the background of a BBC news item in this tee - of course it's the mighty Joe Strummer! So yes, @TheClash is today's #LockdownUK tee. It's an old shirt, showing the ravages of time, but then, that's me too..

@idlesband make another appearance on today's lockdown tee, and to add to the whole moment I'm listening to the live at Le Bataclan album! Splendid!

We are back to @Buzzcocks today, with the Orgasm Addict shirt, and a sunny morning in the back garden. I love this shirt - the design is excellent but rarely get to wear it as my family socially distanced themselves if I did, years before it was a thing!

@twentyonepilots again today for my #LockdownUK tee. This one was a limited Trench edition. It may not be very punk, but I love this band! I have to thank my two youngest for making me take them to see ToP in 2016 and becoming their newest fan 30 seconds into the first song!

Zoot I'm Zoot I'm Zoot... Yes, it's another fun-packed day in my house and today is my lovely @mysteryjets Zootime tee. Zootime is one of my most fave MJs songs and I even had the thrill of Henry getting me onstage to bash tambourine to it once!

I picked up the poster on the last night of their Eel Pie Island tour back in about the mid 15th century I think... They hadn't even seen it themselves when I got them to sign it! @blaineharrison @KAAPSLOCK @MRREES_

It's Friday, so my #LockdownUK tee is from @BSPOfficial as it's #timstwitterlisteningparties with British Sea Power at 7.30pm. Man of Aran is tonight & is a new soundtrack for a very old documentary. Btw this tee is supposed to be a cypher but I've never worked it out. Anyone?

Waking the world up to how we need society to change - @the_levellers feature again on my #LockdownUK tee. This one is a little on the snug side it's fair to say! Must have shrunk in the cupboard... Roll on the new album and rearranged Aylesbury gig!

A real pang of missing normal life (whatever that is) with today's lockdown tee. The absolutely brilliant @MurderCapital_ was the last band I saw live before this all started to go tits up and I should have been seeing them at @TruckFestival but there's no chance it'll happen.

Still, I have the setlist from it and some photos.
