As I was sitting at the auditorium on a sunny day, cars glistening in the distance as the suns rays shown over them. I glanced over and took in a deep breath to take in the scenery. All of a sudden there was a subtle change in my surrounding, I quickly glanced back
and noticed that something was glistening even brighter than the parked cars in the distance, it was a pleasant and gentle glow that drew in my attention with every passing second. I adjusted my gaze and squinted a little in an attempt to pinpoint where the glow was emanating
from but it was all in vein. I slumped back a little and looked down at my sneakers as a feeling of utter defeat swept my entire being. I sat there swinging my feet back and forth in the air in a motion akin to that of a pendulum.
A guitar gently strumming the blues with every swing, I basked in that feeling for what felt like an eternity. Out of the corner of my eye I picked out the familiar glow that had drawn in all of attention what felt like a lifetime ago.
Within a matter of seconds the feeling of utter defeat along the rigidness that came with it was replaced by a sensation that I could only associate with the morbid curiosity that I possessed as a toddler. I took a deep breath and averted my gaze away from my sneakers
and peered into the distance. What I had mistook for a gentle harmless glow was now glowing bright and radiant akin to a sunset. Flashes of memory began to flash indiscriminately in the back of mind.
There in all it's brilliance and radiance was the most spectacular forehead I had ever seen.
