If El Paso County continues a 12% increase, we’ll have 840 #COVID19 cases by 4/11. Make sure you’re doing your #SpatialDistancing.
At 15% growth, we’ll be at 1282; at 20% growth, we’ll be at (gulp) 2533.
The international average is 33%, I’m not doing that math, you don’t want to know.
Updated, 3/27, 160 confirmed cases in EPC. (15%+ decrease from yesterday).
By April 11, with a 12% daily increase: 876;
15% daily increase: 1302;
20% daily increase: 2465
We need to do better.

The good news is there were no new deaths today in El Paso County.
We’ve seen an increase these past days, so I’m updating numbers for 14%, 16% and 18% trends. In the last 24 hours, we had 41 new cases, which is a 17% increase over yesterday
14%|-1209 by 4/11
16%|-1464 by 4/11
18%|-1766 by 4/11
Needless to say, we need to do better #COSprings
I’m taking today’s numbers as a good sign! We only had a 10% increase from yesterday in cases. Keep up the #SpatialDistancing #cosprings #elpasocounty
The following are new exponential rate increase totals (10, 14 & 18) by 4/11
10%|- 814 cases
14%|- 1164
18%|- 1643
Just over 8% increase over yesterday, which is a positive sign. I’m adjusting the exponential projections for 8%, 10%, 12% & 14% by 4/11 below:

8% | 680
10%| 802
12%| 943
14%| 1106
Hopefully we’ll plateau this next week and start decreasing #COVID19 cases.
10% increase from yesterday. Gov’r announced masks now required. Short of a miracle, EPC will be over 400 cases tomorrow.
Updated 4/11 projections:
8%, 692
10%, 802
12%, 926
14%, 1067
Also, wear it over your face, don’t be a Michael Scott. #FlattenTheCurve
8.5% increase over yesterday. Sadly, El Paso County also lost 4 residents in the last 24 hours to #COVID19.
I can’t imagine the 4/11 date holds, I’m expecting it to extend to the end of April. 4/11 projections updated:
8%, 696,
10%, 791,
12%, 898,
14%, 1016
EPC saw its lowest increase in cases in the last 24 hours (7.14%) are are now at 435. Updated projections to 4/11:
6%, 617
8%, 690
10%, 771
12%, 859
I swapped the 14% for the 6% in hopes that the % increase can keep dropping.
Aside from an additional 3 deaths, todays numbers are good! We only had a 1.38% increase in cases in the last 24 hours.
🤞 I think we may actually be #flatteningthecurve in #ElPasoCounty
I’m not listing the percentages anymore. Instead, hoping for a decrease by 4/11! 😷
No new deaths today in El Paso County, but we do have 16 more cases today.
For curiosity purposes, the positive rates per test this past week (in %) were: 14, 19, 19, 18, 18, 29, 24. Less tests, but the medical pros seem to be more selective.
Keep those 😷 on friends.
The golf course is still open?
In the last 24 hours, we saw 2 new deaths in El Paso County, 15 more cases. Testing dropped to a 2 week low at 1296 (statewide) yesterday.
Btw, disregard the percentages from yesterday, I had a big error in that.
Big spike today in cases. In Colorado, the number of tests nearly doubled, but the positive cases in EPC quadrupled.
We now have 534 cases, which was an increase of 13% from yesterday. 2 additional deaths as well.
Get your 😷 on friends!
Trying something different to make more sense of the variances in the data. While today saw a 3% increase, the last 7 day average shows a 5.26% daily increase. This number has steadily gone down, which is good progress.
New numbers for today, 4/11
New numbers point to progress regression.
Deceivingly low number of new cases in the last 24 hours, but tests were also the lowest because of the Easter Holiday on Sunday. 11 new cases; 2 add’l deaths in El Paso County. I expect the numbers tomorrow to rebalance. Current daily increase from 7 day average: 5.6%
Another low day of testing numbers (state-wide). I’m *hoping* that this means less people are wanting to be tested, but I’m not optimistic. El Paso County seems to be on a 2-death per day pattern, yet a decreasing number of positive cases.
Today we saw an increase in total tested in Colorado, positive cases & sadly a large increase in deaths with 5 in 24 hours.
We’re currently looking at a 7% mortality rate for positive cases in El Paso County.
I am optimistic of the numbers indicating the flattening of the curve. We need to keep it up El Paso County!
I like today’s numbers, no new deaths, moderate state tests, low case increase. I saw a lot of masks on trails at Bear Creek this am, everyone is making progress, we can makes the cases go down soon. Good job, keep it up El Paso County!
10 new cases, no new deaths. Both good outcomes for last 24 hours in El Paso County. Number tested data not on website anymore? https://covid19.colorado.gov/case-data
Only 3 new cases today. 7 day increase average is a low 2% per day. Hoping to see decreases by May.
I skipped a day, but we have seen two days of increases, including a big increase in the last 24 hours. I’m nervous of what the number will be on May 6, 10 days after the stay at home order is lifted.
I was not expecting this when I opened the new numbers today. I’m sad for the 17 lost lives in El Paso Counties and the 55 new cases. This is a major setback, we need the stay at home order in effect longer in El Paso County, at a minimum.
Apparently yesterday’s numbers made some corrections, and apparently today, they corrected the corrections, unless a few people were resurrected. Regardless, still showing a 7 day increase of about 3%. Today is the last day of stay-at-home order.
