Gunna use quarantine to unearth and read every comic book trade/collected edition I collected like 5/6 years ago when I bought them physically. Might make an opinion thread on them, time to see if 16 year old me had good taste.
Started with an old Daredevil hardcover I had. Daredevil is the best written character in comics imo and this one was, as standard , A+
Spent the last 2 days reading all 4 of these Flash hardcover. Remember it being a lot better, writing is kinda weak. Art, however, is stellar. Especially the covers. Solid B- overall
These 2 GOTG books took me days to read because they were just a big slog. Inconsistent art and writing. C- at best
Geoff Johns Justice league is so much fun. Great moments, huge scale and such a visual treat its unreal. Solid A grade reading material
Enjoyed reading in the garden today. Life story is about Peter Parkers story as if he had aged normally from the 60' & been Spidey through some of the 20th centuries most defining events. Great writing with callbacks to other famous Spider-man stories and some great artwork. A+
(This was also a birthday gift and is the most modern book I've read from this list )
I finished reading another birthday gift - this behemoth collection of Injustice: Gods Among Us. It's now my favourite comic story ever. Its brutal, grandiose and so hard to put down. I read 3 years worth of issues in 3 days. A++
Mister Miracle is a fantastic showcase of superhero comic books tackling real themes: fatherhood, PTSD, war, depression. Couple that with excellent moment to moment writing and probably my favourite art work in comics? It's a worth A+ read
Another slog of a read. Really not invested in the story, art or writing. Not the worst I've read but so hard to power through, especially when I've just come off the back of great stories and have more great ones on the pile to read.
I'm looking to dive in to some modern DC comics so its only fair to revisit the pretty great (albeit short) event that sparked so many still ongoing stories.
Heroes in Crisis is...good? It's weird & despite the extremely high quality of art and writing, I really found myself losing almost all my interest in the story by the final issue. A remarkably strong start & some great but brief character moments though. Probably a B-
The Vision is fantastic. Stellar writing and art. Perfect example of a simple premise executed tremendously
Don’t know how dedicated I’m going to be to this thread, although I’ll definitely still be reading.

I recently, however, read these 3 Batman books by Scott Snyder and damn. This shit is A++ tier. Court of Owls is fantastic from start to finish.
