I keep saying that we need to STOP looking at the COVID data in the US as a whole and here is why.

These are the COVID cases of 2 regions. The west coast is orange, the NYC area (NY, NJ, CT) is blue.

2 weeks ago, the west coast had twice as many cases as NYC

If we continue to insist on looking at COVID cases in the US as a whole, we WILL NOT understand what is going on and we will make the wrong decisions.
