New police powers to enforce social distancing:

£60 fine, or £30 if you pay within 14 days
£120 fine for second time offenders, doubling on each further offence
Instructing people to go home or disperse
Tellling parents to stop their children breaking the rules

ITV News has also seen check points now being used by police to stop motorists and ask them where they’re going and why.
