the sunsets will continue until morale improves
Took this photo. Looked around & there was an odd little critter swimming. Due to my mask, my glasses kept fogging, but I decided it was a muskrat. He swam to my left, then back to the right. I looked up again: the sunset had turned absolutely spectacular! And, my phone had died.
A glowering Rorschach sunset, and a happy muskrat. I think that's a muskrat. Correct me if I'm wrong.
is that a muskrat in your sunset or are you just happy to see me
I don't know if I'll ever get used to the sight of pelicans in Colorado. Also in the lake this evening were another (or same?) muskrat, a camera-shy heron, and a beautiful wood duck.
Balancing rock tower by unknown artist.
Oh, just another sunset with BABY DUCKS AND BABY GEESE.
A quiet one, no big colors, no muskrat sightings. But I planted some asters and a jalapeno today, so it wasn't a complete loss.

While the view to the west wasn't very interesting, this was what was going on south-facing.
What a day. Maybe give someone a hug.
A sunset before curfew... May this moment turn into the mass protest movement we need and deserve... Take care of one another out there.

Near Salida, CO, facing east.
The tracks are fenced here on either side. But, there's a small pedestrian gate. But, the place where you want to take the picture isn't at the gate, but further up the tracks. So, anyway, yes, I was the lunatic sprinting down the tracks every time the light rail came by tonight.
