Took this photo. Looked around & there was an odd little critter swimming. Due to my mask, my glasses kept fogging, but I decided it was a muskrat. He swam to my left, then back to the right. I looked up again: the sunset had turned absolutely spectacular! And, my phone had died.
A glowering Rorschach sunset, and a happy muskrat. I think that& #39;s a muskrat. Correct me if I& #39;m wrong.
I don& #39;t know if I& #39;ll ever get used to the sight of pelicans in Colorado. Also in the lake this evening were another (or same?) muskrat, a camera-shy heron, and a beautiful wood duck.
A quiet one, no big colors, no muskrat sightings. But I planted some asters and a jalapeno today, so it wasn& #39;t a complete loss.
I was stuck in a Zoom and just left them hanging so I could run and take a quick picture from the backdoor.
While the view to the west wasn& #39;t very interesting, this was what was going on south-facing.
A sunset before curfew... May this moment turn into the mass protest movement we need and deserve... Take care of one another out there.
