Starting the Star Wars series from beginning to end.

Off we go with Episode One...
It was not great, about what I expected. Not a terrible movie...but definitely the worst of the series.

On to Episode Two tomorrow.
Episode Two was a bunch of...meh. First 30 minutes were awful, got better and the last 30 were pretty good. 6/10.

Onto Episode Three tomorrow, which I have never seen. I'm sure Anakin stays true and doesn't turn to the Dark Side.
Well, Episode Three was light years better than the previous two. Even thought you know what's coming, I thought it was well done. Hard to do that when the element of surprise is gone.

Onto Solo next, which I still maintain is pretty underrated after two previous viewings.
Couldn't do Solo, not on Disney+ yet. Went to Rogue One instead last night and I must say, still the best of the bunch over the past few years. Just a wonderful story that weaves seamlessly into the start of Episode Four. Chirrut is still my favorite.
A New Hope is still an A+ classic. I'm guessing the scene with Joba talking to Han on Mos Eisley has been added over the years, I'd never seen it before.

I've always liked Empire slightly more than A New Hope. We'll see if that holds true after tomorrow's viewing.
Detoured and watched Solo again.

I still love it. A little rough around the edges but great performances from Glover as Lando and Ehrenreich as Solo.

Predictable but still good. Onto Episode Five tomorrow.
From last night--but Empire is still the best. Billy Dee was such a perfect pick for Lando and he adds so much to the story.

It's amazing how the extra added effects transform each of the original trilogy movies. I think it was more evident in Empire than A New Hope. Onto Jedi!
Jedi is a good capper to the original trilogy. It's my favorite of the bunch (not to be confused with best) for sentimental reasons. The longer celebration scene at the end was new for me as well, kinda cool.

7 and 8 again this weekend, might be a bit for 9. Then Clone Wars.
So The Force Awakens is a good movie. I feel it could've developed the new characters a bit differently, it is pretty much a carbon copy of A New Hope in that regard.

Third viewing. I still prefer The Last Jedi, but it's better than I, II or III.
