Here’s a little thread guide on how to farm tarantulas if you’re not able to get to the actual tarantula island. #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons #ACNH

So first you need to get a nook miles ticket from the residents center for 2,000 miles. Then head to dodo airlines, and use your nook miles ticket to go to a mystery island (Make sure it is night time). When you get there it’s gonna be quite a farm.

First thing you’re gonna wanna do is pull every weed and every flower bud off it’s flower, at this time you also want to go around and chop down every tree (not coconuts) and pick up the fallen resources. Watch out for wasp.

Now that you chopped and pulled everything bring out your shovel. You wanna go around digging up every stump, every flower and break every rock (You can break rocks by eating the fruit from the trees). DO NOT FILL IN HOLES. They are your friends.

Once you’ve did all of that you can plant all the budless flowers on the beach and empty all your pockets. So now there should be no place for the bugs to spawn besides for the wharf roaches, tiger beetles and mole crickets. Your island should look like this.

Now you are gonna wanna run around the island and despawn any tiger beetles and roaches you see, eventually tarantulas will start to spawn. Unlike the actual tarantula island the most tarantulas I’ve had at a time we’re 2, so just catch and run around despawning everything else.

Just some updates to this thread. In April we were brought the large water bug what makes this even more of a grind. They spawn in lakes and rivers. Sadly you can’t chase them away and have to catch them. But they are worth 2,000 bells.
