I read a while back that PR 3 was announced for April this year (next month, huh) for JP and CN, so I'm going to give y'all a speculation on which ships we *might* see for it, assuming 6 ships in total.

THREAD

Let's start with the germans.
They might add 1 of the following 3 ships:
Ägir, Großer Kürfurst or Hindenburg

Hindenburg is *another* heavy cruiser, like Roon but with 1 extra main gun. She has more torpedo tubes (a total of 8 per side I think) and that's it. In-game she's much better than Roon tho.

Großer Kürfurst is like FdG, but bigger.

Like, "*the* biggest ship in the game" kind of big.

German BB armed with 12 406 mm guns or 12 420 mm guns. We might see either one of those two iterations as her researchable gun.

And finally, Ägir. The most likely of the three, to be honest, as she's Tier 9 (we have seen a lot of Tier 9s in PR, like Azuma, Georgia, Ibuki, Kitakaze, etc).
Ägir has 9 305mm guns and she's basically an upscaled Scharnhorst/Gneisenau.

OTHER POSSIBILITIES (three more ships):
Mainz (Hipper but with 3x152 mm main guns instead of 2x203)
Siegfried (Ägir with Bismarck's main guns)
Odin (Ägir, but one tier lower and with 4 6km torpedoes per side)

Any of these are more likely than GK and Hindy tbh

MY OPINION: We might see either Ägir or Siegfried, since they are both Tier 9 and new ships.

We have... a lot of options for the next nation: JAPAN
Let's talk about the 3 most likely to be added:

Hakuryū
Kii
Yoshino
(YES, Hakuryū is a carrier)

Let's begin with the easiest, Kii.

Suruga is Kii-class, so I'd imagine a copypasted but more powerful stat chart for Kii. Piss poor AA, amazing guns and armour and great maneuverability.

Yoshino is basically a bigger, torpedo armed Azuma. So I think this is the least likely because we already have an Azuma-like ship - Azuma herself.

Now for the fun one, the first PR carrier: Hakuryu.

She's an upscaled Taihou in-game, and one of the biggest carriers of the period I think (still, Shinano is WAY bigger). She would have incredibly strong against CA and BB bombs and slow but powerful torps.

That's it for Japan. I don't think they'll add Zao, which is Ibuki but with different turret layout; and let's not mention the mighty Shikishima, a Yamato armed with

GUNS

(for reference, Yamato was the ship with the biggest guns of all time. This monstrosity has even bigger guns)

MINOR NATIONS NOW, before the HMS and USS.

ITALY

There are a bunch of Italian candidates that might be farmed with Ironblood/French/Italian shipgirls:

Venezia
Amalfi
Brindisi
Impero (no picture sadly, so here's Roma, Littorio's youngest sister)

Now, bear with me:

Amalfi (prev. Verona), Brindisi (prev. Torino) and Venezia (prev. Milano) are variations of the same design, so I guess Brindisi (tier 9) would be the most likely.
They have SAP too, like Zara and Trento.

Impero's gimmick is that she's the only BB with SAP ammo AND smokescreen in-game. No idea how that will work since there's no preview yet, but sounds exciting.

That's it for Italy.

ok I'm back. Let's do 1 nation more:

FRANCE

There are 3 candidates:

Champagne (BB)
Bayard (CL)
Kléber (DD)

Champagne is like Gascogne, but instead of 4x380mm batteries she has 3x406mm batteries.

Bayard is basically Cleveland but french - extremely fast and with torpedoes.

Kléber is a fast, huge and fast firing DD with dizzingly fast torpedoes.

The most hard to do is the USN, so let's do that.

The main problem with them is that most, if not all, high tier stuff has existed and served in real life, which goes against the main idea behind the PR project. That's why all the proposals are either BB, BC or supercruisers.

That's why I decided that the most likely candidates for USN PR3 are:

Montana
Ohio
Puerto Rico

The problem is that all of them are Tier 10, and we haven't had any Tier 10 PR shipgirl.

Ohio is like Georgia but with 1 turret more.
Montana is like Iowa but with 1 turret more.
Puerto Rico is similar in concept to Azuma, but american and 1 turret more. And Radar.

So unless they announced a tier 8-9 paper ship for the USN, we might not see any USN PR3 shipgirl sadly.

Now for the final ones, the Royal Navy

I'm not going to bother with 3 candidates when it's pretty clear it's one of the two following ships. Both are heavy cruisers and both never existed:
Cheshire and Albemarle.

I don't fully know the main gimmick of the Royal Navy heavy cruiser line yet. Absurd HE spam maybe? idk

Cheshire has 234mm main guns and Albemarle has 203mm guns. They both have torps and pretty poor armour even for British standards.

SPECIAL MENTIONS: Northern Parliament.

Given the recent event and the apparent good relations between Northern Parliament and Eagle Union, we might see a few soviet PRs.

There are A LOT of candidates, and here they come in two different tweets:

Ochakov and Riga are CL, Donskoi is CA, and Kronshtadt is Large cruiser/Battlecruiser

Borodino, Lenin and Vladivostok.

All of them have 406 mm russian bias guns. Lenin and Borodino have all of them front facing (Borodino having only 2 turrets and Lenin having 3). Terrible broadside armor, ice-breaker bow. Awesome guns
