Ok, it's about time I got this off of my chest. I wanted to give my two cents about the controversy surrounding the Sword/Shield DLC(Better late than never I suppose)

First of all, the people comparing Game Freak to EA because of the DLC. Listen, Game Freak is nowhere near EA levels of scummy. If they were, the DLC would be fucking awful

In what way exactly? Well:
-All returning DLC Pokemon locked behind "Surprise Mechanics"
-So many game-breaking bugs and glitches to the point where it's borderline unplayable
-Kubfu and Calyrex having a $99.99 paywall each
-DLC Trainer Gear costing actual money

Frankly, Game Freak deciding to do DLC instead of enhanced versions was a good idea because I frankly don't want to pay 60$ to play the entire story of Sw/Sh again just to get to the new stuff

At least be glad we're even getting DLC in the first place instead of having to be stuck with only 400 pokemon

If we keep on PEACEFULLY protesting, we might get more DLC that'll bring the rest of the Dex back(It's all we can do at this point)
