A thread on why Real Madrid is the Greatest Club of All Time.
I'll be comparing Real Madrid with some of it's competitors who gets close in terms of accomplishments & history.

Competitors
1. Manchester United
2. FC Barcelona
3. AC Milan
4. Liverpool
5. Bayern Munich
6. Juventus
History- the closest any club comes near Real Madrid in terms of history is Manchester United.
Manchester United was founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, changed its name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to its current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Busby years (1945- 1969) MU Domination.
Busby led the team to 2nd place league finishes in 1947, 1948 and 1949, and to FA Cup victory in 1948. In 1952, the club won the First Division, its first league title for 41 years. They then won back-to-back league titles in 1956 and 1957.
The Sir Alex Ferguson years (1986- 2013)
United then became the first English club to do the Double twice when they won both competitions again in 1995–96, before retaining the league title once more in 1996–97 with a game to spare.
In the 1998–99 season, United became the first team to win the Premier League, FA Cup & Champions League – "The Treble" – in the same season. Losing 1–0 going into injury time in the 1999 Champions League Final, Sheringham & Solskjær scored late goals to claim a dramatic victory.
Manchester United's history dominates World Football but Real Madrid is all about Glory.
The Bernabeu years (1943- 1978)
During Bernabéu's presidency, many of Real Madrid's most legendary names played for the club, including Di Stéfano, Ferenc Puskás, Francisco Gento, and more.
Bernabéu had been the club's president for 33 years, during which Real won one Intercontinental Cup, six European Cups, 16 La Liga titles and six Spanish Cups. While the club won the European Cup (currently, Champions League) five times in a row between 1956 and 1960.
Real Madrid has a richer history than Manchester United as Madrid was dominant in Spain as well as Europe. Whereas Manchester United became the top club in England but wasn't as impactful in Europe as Real Madrid.
Domestic League Accomplishments- Juventus & Bayern Munich
Juventus is Italy's most successful club with 35 Serie A consecutively winning the last eight league titles (2011-12 to 2018- 19) with no other club coming close to stop the Juventus domination.
Like Juventus, Bayern Munich is Germany's most successful club with 29 Bundesliga titles creating a monopoly in recent years in the Bundesliga in recent years same as Juventus with only Borussia Dortmund winning in the Bundesliga 2010-11 & 2011-12.
Real Madrid's League accomplishments are rated highly than Bayern Munich and Juventus because in La Liga, the competition is higher with FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid & Valencia (before) being the regular competitors in Spain as even with Barca's rise & them winning (contd.)
the La Liga title 8 times out of the last 10 seasons, yet Madrid has a total league titles of 33 (most in Spain). Impressive.
Champions League/ European Cup- AC Milan & Liverpool
Champions League is the most elite club competition in football and when it comes to the biggest stage in world football only two teams can even come close to Real Madrid.
Liverpool in total has won 6 Champions League titles in their history. Liverpool won the Champions League in 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 2005 and 2019 while being the current champions of Europe.
AC Milan on the other is succesful than Liverpool in Europe with the club winning seven champions league titles in their history. AC Milan won the Champions League in 1963, 1969, 1989, 1990, 1994, 2003 and 2007.
Liverpool & AC Milan have outstanding records in European competition but none of th comes close to Real Madrid.
Madrid has won 13 Champions League in their history while being the first and only club to win it thrice in a row in the Champions League era.
Rival- FC Barcelona
Real Madrid's biggest rival is undoubtedly FC Barcelona.
The rise of Barca is credited to Johan Cruyff who as a manager assembled a dream team to make Barcelona into a footballing giant. Later on was Pep Guardiola's Barca which was one of the best in history.
Barcelona was extremely successful from 2005- 2011 with the likes of Ronaldinho, Eto, Iniesta, Xavi, Ibra, and Messi formed the golden era of Barcelona. With Guardiola at the helm, Barca won numerous trophies including La Liga, Champions League, Copa Del Rey and more.
Even with Barca' rise,Madrid stayed strong and even though not at their best for some seasons they did managed to come back stronger than ever under Jose Mourinho in the 2011-2012 season winning the league with 100 points & scoring a record of 121 goals in Europe's top 5 leagues.
Real Madrid still remains better than Barcelona despite their recent success is because the history of Real Madrid is far greater than Barcelona and even after all those restructures and revamps, Barca has only won five Champions League compared to Madrid's thirteen.
Barcelona assembled their best team after 2000 and in that period, Madrid has won six Champions League titles that is more than Barcelona has in total while Barca won four since 2000.
While in La Liga, Barca does have an edge with Madrid winning six league titles (contd.)
since 2000 where Barca won the league 10 times during the same period but even though with these successes,Barcelona is still behind Real Madrid's tally of 33 league titles compared to their 26 reflecting the greatness of Real Madrid and it's dominance in the history of football.
Over the years Real Madrid became the biggest brand and the most valuable club in the world boasting some the greatest players such as Figo, Ronaldo, Zidane and more. With Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the greatest of all time, shows the Real Madrid's success on and off the pitch.
