Starting a thread of books I read:

First off, Brave New World.

Jarring, perplexing, and disturbing.

Somewhat oddly paced. Quick to read but will take a long time to fully process. Definitely picking up more of Huxley’s work.
Have you ever wished you could read a 450 page transcript of a “99% Invisible” episode? That’s what this book was like.

Fascinating account on a seemingly mundane topic.

Picked it up at @smartereveryday ’s rec and it was 100% worth it.
A little embarrassed by how far I had to scroll to find this thread but also happy that I’m back to reading regularly!

Super happy I picked this up- lots of great points brought up on urbanism and what makes cities great. Makes me super grateful to live in Chicago!
