Atlantis is the entry point for many people researching lost civilizations. It’s the perfect starting point with many Greek philosophers having written about it extensively. It is the Hellenistic equivalent of Babel. In fact I believe those stories are one and the same

Atlantis is the civilization that rose from the ashes of Hyperborea, a reaction to the spiritual vacuum it created. Where Hyperborea was connected to positive energy the Atlantean civilization was fueled by a different source; the chaotic energy of Mars.

The Tower of Babel. The etymology might confuse some; the name does not come from “babble”—confusion of language—but the ancient arcane civilization “Babylon.”

The Babylonians were creating a “Tower that could reach into heaven” this was not an extremely tall building, but a “tower” that could fly. It could “reach heaven” because it travelled between heaven and earth. An archaic description of a spacecraft.

Atlantis is known for having advanced technology. The atlanteans were originally inhabitants of Mars, and they brought the knowledge they had to earth. Today the sons of Babylon are seeking to return Home once more.

The history of the earth is filled with these cycles. A civilization arises, reaches great heights, communes with those beyond, reached a seemingly unachievable pinnacle before being destroyed entirely. This is the story of Atlantis.

When the sons of Mars descended upon earth they found a world weakened and in disarray. They came following the great cataclysm of the moon and the reversal of the poles. With this change the position of the oceans had shifted as well.

The coming of the moon marked the end of the Proselenian era. The cataclysm known as the great deluge. While the waters of the flood sank; Atlantis arose.

The Babylonians were obsessed with mars, the majority of Babylonian astrology revolved around two planets: Mars and Jupiter.

To them Jupiter was Marduk, the king of the gods and Mars was the ruler of the flaming underworld: Nergal.

This polarizing symbolism fascinates me. Atlantis is a civilization of a fire deity that is ultimately conquered by water. Nergal is the Prometheus of Babylonian legend, the one who brings fire to mankind; this fire representing divine knowledge

The Babylonians also have many records of flying crafts; the “Vimana” which Serrano calls the flying discs of light. This is a motif also found all over Egypt, as the winged disc of Ra.

Both Egypt and Babylon were ancient cultures with defined written languages, centuries ahead of the rest of the world. Both have ancient mysteries and were home to wonders of the ancient world. While the hanging gardens are gone the Pyramids still stand.

In the Greek histories Atlantis is an opposing empire that seeks to destroy Athens because it is the only city in the world that is not under their control. The Atlanteans were the rulers of the ancient world.

There are many ways Atlantis could have fallen, and many speculations. I’m going to put forth my own theory but I’ll preface it with this. Collapse is the fate of all empires. Nations always rise and fall. This is just another earthly cycle. Hyperborea fell just like Atlantis.

This all ties back to the Tower of Babel. A new civilization peaking from almost the post flood destruction. There was a sense of unity. Genesis says that the men were of one mind, and they worked together so that there would be nothing they could not accomplish.

It says they all spoke one language, but were also of one mind. It’s possible that this Atlantean civilization had integrated with a powerful outside intelligence that was giving them instructions on how to create their “tower that could reach into heaven”

Whatever lies sleeping in Mars keeps calling to his children. To return to the red planet. The Tower of Babel was a failed attempt to do this.

The gods punished Atlantis for their hubris by sinking them beneath the sea. Here is a crater left by the destruction. This event is also known as the Eruption of Thera.

But the story is not over yet. Elon Musk will finish what Babylon and Atlantis started.
