thread of films watched on lockdown

1. High school musical
a classic, but my least favourite of the 3. the theatre kid in me truly respects sharpay for her protection of the arts, she is the true hero of the film

2. Lemonade mouthâin my opinion, itâs one of the best Disney channel original movies, and not just because of the iconic naomi scott, will have determinate stuck in my head for the rest of the day, and i ainât even mad
3. Oz, the great and powerfulâ aka the film that led me to first discover the icon that is michelle williams,, bloody love this film, in all its cringy typical wicked witch film glory, p.s i envy mila kunis, sheâs STUNNING
4. Princess diaries 2-A royal engagementâ the princess diaries books and film are quite possibly some of my favourite, julie andrews and anne hathaway are the duo we didnât deserve

5. Rocketmanâdefo up there with one of my favourite films, elton john is an icon within his own right and it was only fair he got his own biopic, taron egerton nailed the role and heâs such a underrated performer
6. Eddie the eagleâ this film is such a feel good film for me, and not just because my two favourites Taron egerton and hugh jackman front it

7.Sister Act- now this wouldnât be a film thread if i didnât get a couple of musicals in here,,, adore this movie and adore whoopi goldberg a hell of a lot

8.cheaper by the dozen- absolutely love this film, disney plus providing the goods as always

9. GI janeâ got to admit, this was a mum recommendation but was actually such a good film. it was so interesting to see a bad ass woman in the navy seals, even if she was treated awful at first, would definitely recommend
10. High school musical 2â you canât beat a good old hsm film, some absolute bangers in this film that canât be ignored, troy and his bet on it musical number steals it for me

11. High school musical 3â in my opinion, the best of the 3. may be unpopular but how can you discredit the absolute stunning songs in this film such as scream, just wanna be with you and can i have this dance, the end gets me everytime

12. the bodyguardâ so iâm dying to see the stage musical version of this so thought iâd give the film a try... didnât live up to expectations but you cannot deny what a talent whitney houston was, such an icon who went too soon
still want to see the musical!!

13. mamma mia 2â anyone who knows me know how special the musical mamma mia is, so it wouldnât be fair if i didnât include any of the films in this thread. they absolutely nailed the casting of this and lily james donna has my entire

14. the hunger games- mockingjay part 2â i used to be such a hunger games stan when i was like 13 and honestly after watching the film i remember how much i loved them, so iâm gonna re-read the books, josh butchers on has my heart always x
