reasons why the originals is the best show of the tvdu

before i start this thread, i just wanted to inform y’all that this is just my opinion, if you disagree just ignore the whole thing. i just wanted to share the reasons why i believe that TO outsold the other two shows of the tvdu.

1. the settings, locations & NEW ORLEANS.

2. klaus being the best protagonist from the tvdu >>>

3. family above all.

4. it was more entertaining to watch.

5. the originals had a f/f endgame couple, and an afterlife m/m endgame couple. (+ here are some extra lgbtq+ kisses)

6. it focused on all three main supernatural beings (vampires, werewolves and witches) equally & not to mention, it had hybrids and upgraded vampires who were superior as well.

7. all seasons had great & compelling storylines.

8. less focus on love triangles.

9. it focuses on action more than romance.

10. the poc were a big part of the show. they had powerful roles, not all of them were killed off & had an acceptable amount of screentime.

11. the tragic & unexpected deaths.

12. the friendships!!!

13. the villains were more powerful, smart and murderous than being badass, mean and sassy which made them more interesting and better.

14. freya’s interesting backstory.

15. freya, hope, rebekah mikaelson & hayley marshall-kenner.

16. almost all of the relationships in the show were healthy and not toxic.

17. THE MIKAELSONS.

18. it was more dark and mature (had more adults than teenagers).

19. the show covered all of the importance of family. the family drama, problems, sticking together = becoming more powerful, their bonding, the unbreakable love etc..
