The Kardashians and their racism, cultural appropriation and overall problematic/tone-deaf behavior

Before we get into this thread a disclaimer:

Let’s start with Kim. Kim has a long history of consistently stealing from other cultures for her own profit. She has consistently been racially insensitive and when called out for cultural appropriation, instead of apologizing she responds with this:

The first issue is her calling her braids “Bo Derek braids”. Bo Derek stole these braids from black culture back in the 70s. Black women and men have been wearing braids for thousands of years and they date back to 3500 BC. Braids have a significant history behind them.

The issue here is that Miss Kim feels zero remorse and defends herself when she’s called out for her harmful behavior. This woman is stealing from black culture and getting praised for it while actual black women are called “ghetto” and even fired from jobs for the same styles.

Now let’s get into her consistent blackfishing. It is one thing to tan it is another to change your race.

Another issue with her hair: her changing her hair texture??? She’s literally wearing yaki hair no words. This is a white, Armenian woman.

Let’s also discuss Kim and her family harassing Jordyn Woods but then openly supporting Tristan Thompson, the man who was to blame for that situation in the first place! Just say you hate black women and go bc omfg

Now Khloe, just like her sisters, has a long history of consistently stealing black hairstyles. She’s also claimed that she “does not see color” but when people claim that what they’re really doing is denying responsibility for their privilege and the existence of modern racism

Let’s also get into her ridiculous tanning. Ma’am you’re white

Now Khloe has stolen from almost every culture you can think of. Also that caption “Habibi love” WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEANISJSSJSJSJ that literally translates to “my love love”

Let’s also talk about her directly stealing from black celebrities. She’s copied this Rihanna look (with a durag) not once but twice. A durag is literally used to protect black hair YOU’RE WHITE MA’AM

Finally, onto Kylie and Kendall. A lot of their issues are directly linked to one another so I’m giving them a joint section of the thread. Let’s start with them attempting to profit off of Tupac & Biggie. Again what on earth made them think this was okay????

This is something that I’m surprised isn’t more talked about. Back in 2016 our woke queen starred in a campaign for a fast fashion brand called mango literally inspired by and based off of African tribal prints/clothing. THIS WHITE GIRL WAS THE FACE OF A COLLECTION ABOUT AFRICA

This whole clothing line was a mess. Stealing from chola culture, using photos of deceased rappers for profit without even getting permission from their families then getting sued over it skdjjdhdj a mess.

And it isn’t the only clothing line they’ve done either. You’d think Kylie would’ve learned from the mess that was Kendall+Kylie but she also stole designs from a black owned indie brand for a different clothing line. She literally ordered in bulk from them and stole their design
