i had a tweet about lwj muslim but then i was like maybe i shouldn't say it as a non-muslim. and what do you know i was right as usual

lwj orthodox jew:
- believes in the core tenants but questions others' interpretations
- angry at his peers committing small infractions as a misguided youth
- no lashon hara
- keeps kosher
- fasting
- sect's halakhot increase exponentially as a reaction to social turmoil

lwj muslim:
- keeps halal including abstention from alcohol
- fasting for prolonged periods
- washing as a spiritual practice
- sufi asceticism & withdrawal for worldliness
- there's probably more
