* Used as treatment and in clinical studies: China, South Korea, Singapore, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, France, Brazil, UK, Canada, and US.
* Zinc + Zinc Ionophore (Quercetin)
* Media Attacks Chloroquine
2/ Hydroxychloroquine and Chloroquine have gained a lot of attention over the last week as Elon Musk and President Trump have expressed their optimism in the antiviral medications. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1239650597906898947
3/ Elon Musk shares this popular youtube video from "MedCram" on the effectiveness of Zinc and Hydroxychloroquine.
4/ The best summary can be found here:

"Zinc is doing the work but needs hydroxychloroquine, a zinc ionophore, to cross cellular membranes. Quercetin is a zinc ionophore which is an existing plant-based supplement available over the counter."
6/ There already seems to be a significant amount of research on the effectiveness of Zinc and Zinc-Ionophores against a variety of RNA viruses, including SARS-coronavirus. This was published November of 2010.

7/ This research on concludes that chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell cultures. It was published in August of 2005.

8/ Here are two doctors from Montreal who are proposing the use of Quercetin which some research suggest can protect against the Ebola and Zika viruses, may be able to treat the coronavirus.

9/ Here is the French study that concluded, despite a small sample size, hydroxychloroquine treatment is significantly associated with viral load reduction/disappearance in COVID-19.

11/ This article made it much more apparent that China and South Korea have been using Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19.
12/ Here is an article from February 17th in the Chinese Press saying that Chloroquine has been confirmed effective on COVID-19.

13/ Here is research published on March 9th with the conclusion that Hydroxychloroquine was found to be more potent than chloroquine to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 in vitro.

14/ Here is research from March 16th showing an apparent efficacy and acceptable safety of chloroquine phosphate as a treatment of COVID-19.

15/ The medium article also shared that Hydroxychloroquine is now being used in Spain, Belgium, Sweden, France, Brazil, USA, and UK.
21/ Here it is in Spain:

A medical researcher translated it into english. https://twitter.com/PiotrOkupski/
23/ How has the Mainstream Media covered Hydroxychloroquine since mentioned by the President?

No coverage about it being used & researched in 10+ countries or the science behind zinc and zinc ionophores.

Instead a couple overdosed on fish tank cleaner and 2 grams can kill you.
24/ This is after Korean physicians shared hydroxycholoroquine in official treatment guidelines on March 13th. While there still needs to be clinical studies with larger sample sizes, I am cautiously optimistic on the potential treatment.

26/ I'm now realizing that Korea posted their treatment guidelines utilizing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 on Feb 13th.

China's Head of Biotech said that chloroquine was selected out of tens of thousands of drugs as the most effective treatment on Feb 17th.
27/ Why did it take so long for the CDC and FDA to begin clinical trials in the US?

Why did the WHO only launch their "Solidarity Trial" of clinical studies on chloroquine on March 18th?

Why did all of this only happen after @elonmusk tweet went viral on March 16th?
30/ India has banned the export of hydroxychloroquine. https://twitter.com/ReutersIndia/status/1242645765119528962
