Day 1

I stopped working today. Officially it'll be about 3 weeks, while they try to get remote working online.

Sooooooo, today I started a big project that I've been slowly building on for awhile now.

Putting my whole YouTube production into #Blender3d!

Day 2
Mistakes day.

So this is a big challenge. It's a new software, different layout, work methods, names, hotkeys, etc...

I have to learn #Blender3d, transfer my production there, and test out a new animating plan.

A bit more work before I order ramen for dinner later. 😁
Day 3

Mostly study day. I have to get to a bunch of #Blender3d tutorials.

I purposely skipped a bunch of these months ago. I figured the best way to learn the material is to just jump on it and learn on the go.

Still have a lot to get used to.

Day 4

Ok! So the rig is doing alright! I cleaned up my mistakes with the fbx export last time too.

I just need to do a tedious weightpaint touch-ups.

Ohh, also I started working out today. I completely neglected it for several days now.

Day 5

I hanged out with my cool awesome pal @_Crisos today through #Discord. I needed some help with #blender and turns out we uncovered a crazy superpower.

Too bad @Fern_Animation couldn't make it tonight, maybe next time mann!

I missed this yesterday, sorry. It was mainly a relax day, we watched Blazing Saddles loll.

Day 7
More #blender testing. I have 4 plugins now to mess around with, so I have to make sure they become good friends and team up and stuffs.
Day 8

Taking today as a weekend. I just played Settlers of Catan with friends instead. Nice rainy day indoors 😊
Day 9

More tweaking and polishing the rig. We also got a nice voxel auto-skinning add-on to make this faster. But I just need to figure it out first so I can make this more streamlined later on for future extra characters and collabs.

The finish line can be seen now. 👊
Day 10.
Ohh boooiiiiiiiii...

Ughh, this is a long day.
Day 11.
What I like about my style of 3d art is that I can get around having mediocre skinning and topology and just prioritize on having to make it look good on screen.

#Blender makes that easier so far. I've been enjoying this program so far.

Let's test animation next. 😁
Day 12
We've been playing a lot of board games lately. This time it's #ArkhamHorror.

Ooooff, this game is super anxiety inducing. Super fun though.
Day 13
Aaand after 13 days, it's moving! There's still a bunch of problems, but hey this test is a success!
Day 14
This has been the longest time that I have spent waaaay too many times walking around by myself. I like my alone walks, it gives me tons of time to think, plan things in my head, and some times, get incredibly quiet inside.

There's beauty in this silence.
Day 15
Ohh, euhh, I think there's something wrong about this... hmm...

The government gave me their first emergency benefits fund thingy today.

It's a good day to not be relying on my savings.

Also, my studio will be starting the remote work soon, so this thread might stop then. I might've done a month's work in a few days, awesome!
