Some albums to help pass the time. Albums that have helped me with easing anxiety, stress, or unhappiness. Either uplifting, relaxing, or just positive vibes... I’ll add 1 or 2 a day.
Listen to Keb’ Mo’ self titled album. One of the best modern blues musicians around. This album is awesome.
Check out Kenny Burrell’s live album “Tenderly: Solo Guitar Concert, live in Pasadena”. This is peak relaxation music. Kenny is a jazz legend. If you’re looking for something to calm your nerves, this is it.
Tracy Chapman’s self titled album. That’s it. Listen to it if you’re feeling stressed.
Tigallerro by Phonte & Eric Robertson. Smooth R&B type vibes this project is great. Esp. if you’re not in the best mood. Uplifting to say the least 🔥🔥🔥
Finger Painting by Earl Klugh... This album has it all, in terms of Uplifting, positive music. Relaxing Jazz Guitar, bassline grooves, choir vocals,.. A little more upbeat than other albums on this list, but in a good way.
French Kiwi Juice by FKJ

Back at the Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith. This album doubles as a rec for this list and an incredibly underrated Jazz album at the same time. Jazz Organ doesn’t get near enough love in general.
DEODATO 2 by Deodato. This album is way different than anything else on this list but it’s fire. A dope album to throw on while you are taking care of business, cleaning the crib, or just vibin... A lot more upbeat than other albums on this list
Le Roi de la Bossa Nova by Luiz Bonfá. This album sounds like what swinging in a hammock on a tropical island feels like. Ultimate Quarantine vibes. 🔥🔥🔥
Lotus Blossom by Kenny Burrell. This whole thread could be Kenny Burrell albums tbh but this album hit different.
Dreams by Gabor Szabo... Hungarian Jazz Guitar, need I say more lol this albums is from 1968 and sounds like it could’ve been released yesterday.. ahead of his time and FIRE. If you sleep on this album, your loss.

Circles by Mac Miller. Super chill vibes. A definite audible de-stresser. Recommended by @MiiitchIsDEAD Follow him for unproblematic music talk he’s a real one no doubt.
