Week 3. Increase in deaths, cases and uncertainty -- particularly over testing, whether it be overall numbers or time it takes to get results. Shutdown is, however, faithfully being observed... @IrishTimes looked like this
Week 4. Number of deaths and cases still on increase, some progress on testing but more required. Among the thousands of others, songwriting giant John Prine died of #COVID19 Easter weekend marked by shutdown extension until after May bank holiday. @IrishTimes looked like this
Week 5. Deaths total up to 570 plus but some signs that peak has been reached. Still a rocky, often grim road ahead -- with nursing homes the new frontline. Extent of UK and US incompetence, willful or otherwise, becoming all too evident. @IrishTimes looked like this
