Reading the book of Proverbs this month has changed my thoughts on a lot of things.

15:33 “...Humility precedes honour”

11:14 “...there is safety in having many advisers”

12:24 “Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.”

Proverbs is all about wisdom - how to live a life pleasing to God and how to get on with people. King Solomon was the wisest King ever and wrote Proverbs. He gained wisdom and understanding by asking God (1 Kings 3). Likewise we can also ask God for wisdom in all areas(James 1:5)

19:2 “Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes.”

22:1 “Choose a good reputation over great riches...”
