Joe Biden's Super PAC known as Unite The Country, and led by former campaign aides, raised $4.1 million in February for attack ads to save corporations and wealthy people from Bernie Sanders.

We now have receipts from contributors.

Thread.

Reid Hoffman, billionaire who co-founded LinkedIn and sold it to Microsoft for $26.2 billion, contributed $1 million to Unite The Country to attack Bernie Sanders.

As executive, Ludwig lobbied for relaxed rules on banks. He was, according to The Street, U.S. Comptroller of Currency from 1993 to 1998 during the Clinton Administration, a period characterized by significant deregulation of financial services industry." https://www.thestreet.com/investing/stocks/former-regulator-now-has-banks-back-11164074

It seems this outfit was incorporated by San Francisco-based Pacific Environment in September 2019, but need further confirmation before I say definitively.
This was a mailer Unite The Country funded against Bernie Sanders. The aim was to turn Latino voters in Chicago and Orlando against Sanders. https://twitter.com/Carrasquillo/status/1239001077481197569
Important note for anyone suggesting Unite The Country never funded anti-Sanders attack ads for television.

In end, Super PAC didn't need such ads. Biden won South Carolina handily and then establishment coalesced around him. But donors were prepared. https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/28/politics/democratic-donors-sanders-2020-nomination/index.html
During March 15 debate, Bernie Sanders confronted Joe Biden over Super PACs, including Unite The Country, which funded attack ads against his campaign.
