Every victim is of course 1-2-many.
But I think this supports the view that, if the world had not begun testing for covid19, the world would not have noticed anything remarkable.

disclaimer: in light of the panic that has been spreading like wildfile, I do think the lockdowns are to some extent understandable, perhaps even defensible. We want to minimize infections knowing that everyone with a cough will be running to the hospital, clogging the ICUs.
