Things I do now that I did not do two weeks ago:
-puzzles
-very long phone calls
-baking???
-long daily walks
-kitchen ballet
-thinking about getting a cat
-mat pilates???
-very weird bodyweight arm exercises that look objectively crazy
-building ballet a ballet barre out of pipes
-ACTUALLY doing the foot and ankle strengthening exercises I have planned to “get to” for like a year
-foot to foot taps as a form of greeting
-making my own vanilla syrup at home
-choreographing a dance routine to Ghost Busters
-finally revisiting that podcast about the Clash narrated by Chuck D
-making soft pretzels
-waking up early automatically
-sending so many “how are you doing?” texts
-courteous daily email updates among my extended family
-watching “Adventure Time”
-becoming distressed when good-looking puzzles are "out of stock"
-feeling absolutely justified shopping frivolously from local businesses online
-having a surprisingly busy social calendar for a person who doesn't leave their house
-attending yoga class with my mom who lives in Seattle and my aunt who doesn’t because on Zoom anyone can go to @8limbsyoga
-experimenting with ballet jumps on a yoga mat because I don’t have marley at home
-all athleisure all the time
-exploring the many ways to prepare kale
-running tours of neighborhood p-patches bc there's no way Greenlake doesn't count as a "large gathering"
-streaming workouts from 2 ballet schools, 1 yoga studio & a gym
-actually making those gnarly aspirational freezer bananas into a respectable bread
-eating a complete breakfast on a regular basis. used to be a sad larabar on the way out the door situ. Now it’s granola & yogurt, breakfast burritos, or oatmeal??? WHO HAVE I BECOME
-pretending everyone else is a zombie when I’m out running so I keep my social distance and do not become That Runner
-handwashing everything
-making my own pizza
-no more product in my hair (my hair is naturally lady-in-a-'90s-movie HUGE; why did I think that was a problem)
-using binoculars to watch birds outside
-feeling suddenly v grateful for the pioneer-themed literature I read as a child
-deciding it's really time to do something about the lack of spice racks in this kitchen
-learning 4 Little Swans from Swan Lake because excuse me what else am I supposed to do on the weekends now
-wearing either athleisure or overalls/jumpsuits at all times (so practical!)
