With all of the elective surgery and non-urgent appointment cancellations, I have to wonder about some of these places refusing to close their businesses.

If anything, chiropractors should be assessing appointments and urgency on a case-by-case basis...

It seems like the right thing to do.

To see some of these clinics advertising open hours, during which patients can drop by for an adjustment, seems irresponsible during a pandemic.

I normally wouldn’t put a together in this way, but I think we are in a new era where this behavior needs to be highlighted.

Community spread is real. Venturing out to non-essential businesses, where close contact with other people occurs, impacts everyone. #FlattenTheCuve

And, look, as you read this thread, know that some chiropractors are closing their offices or switching exclusively to telehealth. Some chiros are using social media to share useful information from @CDCgov and @WHO, too.

I think this post is irresponsible. “We will remain open even if there is a lockdown” - ok, tell me how the benefits outweigh the risks. I’ve yet to see this addressed.

“Your health is our number one priority” - I’m not sure they’ve demonstrated that point in this post.

Here we go. This is the only example I’ve found so far that clearly states why the clinic will remain open. Great post.

Messaging matters! “We are open to patients as usual” is a tone deaf statement.
