Working from home and not leaving the house thread:

Day 1:

Sunderland away, 2015/16.

Bogging, no idea why I bought it. Even worse in long sleeves. 4/10.
Day 2:

Ayr United home, 2016/17.

Decent shirt, predominantly jobby team. Relegated, of course. 6/10
Day 3:

Sunderland home, 2012/13.

0-3, knee slides and Davey Vaughan. 7/10
Day 4:

Borussia Mönchengladbach home, 2018/19.

I will genuinely buy any German football shirt going. Any. Solid effort. 'Die Fohlen' means 'The Foals'. You're welcome. 7/10.
Day 5:

Ayr United home, 1987-88.

The best Ayr United shirt of all time. The one replica that every Ayr fan wants. Cheers Dad. 10/10.
Day 6:

Sunderland home, 2016/17.

An absolutely rancid season with a complete whopper in charge. Could be any Sunderland season really, but this one was worse than most. -5/10 season, 5/10 shirt.
Day 7:

Germany away, 2018/19.

Delicious. 8/10.
Day 8:

Sunderland home, 2002-04.

Tore Andre Flo, Sean Thornton, David Bellion, Howard fucking Wilkinson. Record-breaking relegation. What a kit though. 9/10
Day 9:

Hertha Berlin away, 2017/18.

Excellent, one of my absolute favourites. But of trivia for those that don't know, Hertha are named after a boat and are nicknamed Die Alte Dame, meaning 'The Old Lady'. 9/10
Day 10:

Ayr United home, 1993/94.

Belter. 9/10.

@Homeshirts1
Day 11:

St Pauli home, 2017/18.

It's brown, so can't give it any more than a 6/10.

@Homeshirts1
Day 12:

1. FC Nürnberg home, 2018/19.

Nothing draws me to a team more than a stylish shirt and a subsequent relegation. This has both. 8/10

@Homeshirts1
Day 13:

Sunderland home, 1988-91.

The absolute king of all Sunderland home shirts. 10/10.

@Homeshirts1
Day 14:

Spartak Moscow home, 2009.

Not a lot going on here but a decent effort. Spartak's nickname is 'Myaso', meaning 'The Meat'. No idea why. 6/10

@Homeshirts1
Day 15:

Greuther Fürth away 2012/13.

Three times 'Deutscher Meister', according to the inside of the collar. Worn by the club when they were papped straight back to the Bundesliga 2. By the way, it's pronounced 'Groyter Foort'. 5/10

@homeshirts1
Day 16:

@BlackYellow Champions League home shirt, 2013/14.

Excellent shirt, made more special by the fact it was actually bought in Dortmund on a matchday. Worth the 80 Euros. 9/10

@homeshirts1
Day 17:

Real Mallorca away, 2012/13.

The only Spanish shirt I own, so will give it a generous 8/10.

@homeshirts1
Day 18:

Union Berlin third shirt, 2016/17.

To be clear, there is only one team in Berlin, and that is Hertha BSC. But since I am not from there and am a pure Bundesliga fanboy, I bought it anyway. 8/10

@homeshirts1
Day 19:

Ayr United home, 2014/15.

As worn by probably statistically the worst Ayr team ever. Almost relegated to the bottom tier, surviving on the final day. Nice shirt though, so at least looked good when we were getting horsed. 8/10.

@homeshirts1
Day 20:

Scotland home, 2017/19.

As worn by Scotland when everyone else was at the 2018 World Cup and we were at home. Qualification is overrated anyway. 9/10.

@homeshirts1
Day 21:

Hertha Berlin away, 2016/17.

The second but not the last @HerthaBSC_EN shirt of this line-up. Probably one of the most underachieving clubs of all time, hence why they would appeal to me. 9/10.

@homeshirts1
Day 22:

Sunderland away, 2019/20.

A very nice shirt ruined by a hideous looking sticker for a sponsor. Amateurish. Viva League One. 6/10

@homeshirts1
Day 23:

Arminia Bielefeld away, 2017/18.

Absolutely beautiful effort from current 2. Bundesliga leaders @arminia and an easy 9/10.

@homeshirts1
Day 24:

Borussia Dortmund away, 2019/20.

Belter of a shirt from @BlackYellow and an absolute bargain for £15. 8/10

@homeshirts1
Day 25:

Ayr United home, 2011/12.

Another Ayr shirt, another relegation season, this time a horrific Playoff defeat at home to Airdrie. The Honest Men also reached the League Cup semi-final, however I have no desire to discuss how that went. 8/10

@homeshirts1
Day 26:

Bayern München home, 2007/09.

As worn by Die Roten when they were pipped to the Bundesliga title by minnows Wolfsburg. Will give it a 9/10 since it was worn by Bastian Schweinsteiger.

@homeshirts1 #shirtstowork
Day 27:

Russia away, 2012/13.

A prized possession, complete with the name of the Premier League's finest ever import. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 #shirtstowork
Day 28:

French home, 2006.

As worn by Les Bleus for the 2006 World Cup when they finished Runner-Up to Italy. I recall wearing it during the final, and for some bizarre reason, being absolutely devastated when they lost. Cheers Zidane. 7/10

@homeshirts1 #shirtstowork
Day 29:

Ayr United home, 2018/19.

A pretty plain effort for the Honest Men's 4th return to The Championship in 10 years, but when your club release a shirt with the word 'Champions' embroidered on it, you must buy it. 8/10

@homeshirts1 #shirtstowork
Day 30:

Germany home, 2016.

The shirt worn by @DFB_Team for Euro 2016, where they reached the semi-final before being eliminated by hosts France. Also features the gold emblem showing that they were the reigning World Champions. Schön trikot. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 #shirtstowork
Day 31:

Hertha Berlin home, 2012/13.

The shirt worn by Die Alte Dame as they clinched the 2. Bundesliga title and bounced straight back to the to flight at the first attempt. Iconic sponsor. 9/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 32:

Sunderland home, 1996/97.

Home shirt from the final season at Roker Park when the club were, in an event that surprised nobody, relegated. Nice shirt, love the sponsor but it's a Score Draw remake so only gets a 4/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 33:

Scotland home, 2011-13.

Another Scotland shirt, another failed qualifying campaign, this time for the 2014 World Cup.

Horsed Croatia at home, couldn't beat Macedonia at home. Beat Croatia away, got roasted home and away by Wales. 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 34:

VfB Stuttgart home, 2017/18.

Absolutely love this shirt, bought on a matchday from the shop at the stadium. Die Schwaben finished 7th that season, including a bizarre 4-1 hounding of Bayern in Munich on the final day. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 35:

Sunderland away, 2008/09.

Not a bad shirt at all, shame I can't look at it without remembering absolute charlatans like El Hadji Diouf. Will give it a 7/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 36:

Arminia Bielefeld home, 2016/17.

Worn by @arminia as they narrowly avoided the relegation play-off spot, finishing 15th out of 18. The club's blue, white and black colour scheme is excellent. 8/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 37:

AS Roma 3rd shirt, 2019/20.

Don't even need a description here. Absolutely unreal shirt from @ASRomaEN here and an easy 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 38:

Real Madrid third shirt, 2017/18.

I previously said on this thread that my only Spanish top is Real Mallorca, but I've absolutely lost control during lockdown just buying any football shirt going, like this. This is 'teal' apparently. 7/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 39:

Switzerland home, 2008-10.

Ehm, £6.99 from @classicshirts? Aw go on then. 8/10 shirt, 10/10 bargain.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 40:

Marseille away, 2018/19.

Another @mandmdirect bargain, this time from the most supported and successful club in France. Absolutely love it. 8/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 41:

Scotland away, 2010/11.

As worn by Scotland during our failed (yes, really) campaign to qualify for Euro 2012. Not a huge fan of yellow but like the lion rampant design on the front. 7/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 42:

Rot-Weiss Essen away, 2007/08.

Probably the most obscure shirt I own, @rot_weiss_essen are a traditionally big club in Germany but in recent years have become trapped in the Regional leagues with no return in sight. Sunderland that. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 43:

Ayr United away, 1987/88.

Have never seen or heard of any other Ayr fan that still owns one of these. The away shirt from the club's Second Division title win 33 years ago. Easy 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 44:

An Adidas Originals remake based on the West Germany home shirt of 1988. Not technically an actual football shirt but still a banger and still an 8/10 on my scale.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 45:

1860 München home, 1995/96.

Absolutely stunning. Perfect colours, perfect sponsor, perfect design and an absolute 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 46:

Croatia home, 2010-12.

Famous kit design but I have just been informed that I 'look like a jockey'... 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 47:

Scotland home, 2014/15.

Despite flashes of decent play and some good results, Scotland again failed to qualify, this time for the Euro 2016 Championships that EVERYONE else qualified for. Genuinely everyone. Sigh. 7/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 48:

Fenerbahçe fourth shirt, 2008/09.

Why a team needs four shirts, I have no idea but here is the fourth shirt of @Fenerbahce_EN from the 2008/09 season, in which the Yellow Canaries finished a gubbins 4th place in the Turkish Süper Lig. 7/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 49:

Ayr United away, 2012/13.

Decent shirt in an absolutely atrocious season for the Honest Men, finishing 7th out of 10 in Scottish League One following relegation from The Championship. 7/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 50:

Internazionale away, 2005/06.

Despite finishing 3rd in Serie A that season, the Nerazzuri were awarded the title after first place Juventus and second place AC Milan were caught up in a match-fixing scandal. They all count. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 51:

Sunderland home, 1997-1999.

New stadium, new badge, one of the best periods in the club's recent history. After a heart-breaking loss in the Playoff Final, Peter Reid's men bounced back and broke the Division 1 record points total. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 52:

Re-wearing this belter in honour of the return of the Bundesliga.

Los geht's @HerthaBSC_EN 🔵⚪

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 53:

Bayern München home, 1995-97.

An absolute belter from Die Roten, one of the finest German football shirts of all time. 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 54:

Ayr United home, 2013/14.

Decent shirt but memories of getting horsed by Cowdenbeath in the Playoff Semi-final means it's only a 6/10 from me.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 55:

Sunderland home, 2017/18.

Just £10 with the money going towards @Bradleysfight, still available in sizes Small to XL using this link -
https://bradleyloweryfoundation.com/product/sunderland-for-brad-t-shirt-2/

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 56:

FC Barcelona home, 2013/14.

Probably the best Barcelona home shirt of the decade, but an unsuccessful season for the Catalans as they were papped out the Champions League by Atletico and then lost the league to the same team. 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 57:

Germany home, 2007-09.

As worn by @DFB_Team_EN when they reached the final of Euro 2008, along with a photo of Bastian Schweinsteiger looking heroic because why not? 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 58:

The only shirt I could possibly wear on Berlin Derby Day.

Come on @HerthaBSC_EN! Berlin ist Blau-Weiss.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 59:

SV Wüstenrot Salzburg home, 1997/98.

Previously Casino Salzburg, then Wüstenrot Salzburg, now technically Red Bull Salzburg but, with RB abandoning the violet colour scheme, many fans turned their back on them & formed a breakaway club. 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 60:

Ayr United away, 2010/11.

Following the usual relegation from the Championship the year before, Ayr celebrated their centenary year with new Nike shirts and a last minute Playoff win to go straight back up. 8/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 61:

Scotland away, 2014/15.

Based on the colours of the Earl of Rosebery which Scotland wore in the late 1800s, this was worn during the failed campaign to qualify for Euro 2016. Nice but as with most Scotland shirts, very few happy memories. 7/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 62:

Club Brugge home, 2012/13.

Excellent, love the colours and love the design. One team in Belgium. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 63:

Fenerbahçe home, 2009/10.

As worn by Istanbul's finest when they finished second to Bursaspor by one point. Pretty much every Fenerbahçe home shirt looks the same but why change a winning design? 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 64:

AFC Ajax away, 2007/08.

The final season that Ajax shirts featured the iconic sponsorship of Dutch bank Abn•Amro. The Amsterdam giants finished 2nd in the Eredivisie, behind PSV Eindhoven. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 65:

Ayr United home, 2010/11.

Exactly the same design as the away shirt from the same season, the Honest Men won promotion to Division One with an 89th minute goal to win the Playoff Final at Brechin. 8/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 66:

Russia home, 2012.

As worn by Russia at Euro 2012, when the team were eliminated in the group stage due to Dick Advocaat's criminal underusage of Roman Pavlyuchenko. Excellent shirt. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 67:

Bury away, 2015/16.

An actual match issue shirt which belonged to Bury player George Miller in his debut season. Miller is now on loan at Scunthorpe and Bury...well let's not go there. 10/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 68:

Rapidly running out of shirts so taking a break from the home shirts to let everyone see this gem. Oh yes.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 69:

Ayr United home, 2003/04.

Owned this shirt since the age of 12 and, not for the first time in this list, it was a mare of a season as Ayr were emptied from the second tier into the seaside leagues. Awful team. 6/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 70:

Napoli third shirt, 2019/20.

Jumped on the bandwagon with this one, delivered within 2 days of ordering despite coming from Torino and only cost €12. Nae regrets. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 71:

Scotland home, 2008-10.

A shirt made famous by Coatbridge's finest, Chris Iwelumo. Probably the most famous miss in Scottish football history, I'm still in disbelief. 8/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 72:

Ajax home, 2017/18.

An absolutely excellent shirt, and then 2 days after it arrived, Davy Klaassen signed for Everton. Sigh. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 73:

Werder Bremen away, 2012/13.

An excellent shirt in a below-average season for Die Grün-Weißen, finishing 14th out of 18 in the Bundesliga. Having said that, I'm sure they'd take that now... 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 74:

With the shirt collection starting to run critically low, here's a @HerthaBSC_EN tracksuit top for you all to enjoy.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 75:

A.C. Fiorentina home, 1998/99.

Don't think a description is necessary. 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 76:

Protecting myself from the cold today with this permanent reminder of Sunderland's 2 failed trips to Wembley and continued presence in the 3rd (THIRD) tier of English football. What a club.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 77:

Re-wearing this one for #BradleysFSF, great effort by @footie_kits, @shirtlane, @AbbeyDaysFM, @TheKitmanUK and everyone who has promoted this to raise money for @Bradleysfight.
Day 78:

Scotland away, 2012/13.

Fond memories of being ragdolled by Gareth Bale in Cardiff. And by fond, I mean absolutely dreadful.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 79:

Again, severely struggling with actual football shirts so today's effort is this Hertha BSC tracksuit jacket, purchased from the Olympiastadion club shop just before an enthralling 0-0 draw with Hannover 96 last season.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 80:

1. F.C. Kaiserslautern home, 1998/99.

Die Roten Teufel went into this season as defending Bundesliga Champions. They are now languishing in the 3rd tier and face financial insolvency.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 81:

Scotland home, 2002/03.

Signed by the whole 2002 squad, I won this in a local newspaper competition, where I reported on a fictional 4-1 win for Ayr against Rangers at Ibrox, proving that I am an absolute fantasist.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 82:

Sunderland away, 2017/18.

Away shirt worn by Sunderland as we were emptied from the Championship and sentenced to rot in League One for eternity. Thanks to @KitCrimes though for highlighting that it was on sale for £2.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 83:

AC Milan home, 2011/12.

Back at it with one of my favourite shirts of all time. Absolutely nothing bad I can say about it. 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 84:

Vålerenga home, 2011.

Sponsorless version of the home shirt worn by Oslo's finest, as they finished 7th in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, a League which runs from March to November to avoid playing in apocalyptic levels of snow in winter.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 85:

AC Milan home, 2012/13.

Complete with the Serie A sleeve badge and the name of Lionel Messi's successor and future Stoke City icon Bojan Krkić on the back, what's not to like. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 86:

PSV Eindhoven home, 1996/97.

Oaft. File that right in the banger category. 10/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK @ShirtsIsolation
Day 87:

1860 München away, 2008/09.

The away shirt worn by Die Löwen as they finished 12th in the 2. Bundesliga. The fit of the shirt is fine but the neck size is atrocious, far too small for an adult human. 8/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 88:

Napoli third shirt, 2018/19.

This was the 3rd shirt worn by Napoli as they finished 2nd in Serie A to Juventus. How they can call this a size Large is beyond me, it's like wearing a wetsuit. 9/10

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 89:

PSV Eindhoven away, 2017/18.

Away shirt worn as PSV won the Dutch Eredivisie. PSV are nicknamed 'The Peasants' as well as being nicknamed 'The Lightbulbs'. Maybe it sounds better in Dutch. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 90:

VfL Wolfsburg away, 2013/14.

As worn by the Wolves when they finished 5th in the Bundesliga. Would much rather have the Volkswagen logo on there but the fact that it's absent probably explains the £14 price.

And yes I took the tags off.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 91:

Napoli home, 2006/07.

Nothing compared to their Kappa efforts but still a solid 7/10 shirt as Napoli, with Chelsea icon Sam Dalla Bona in midfield, finished 2nd and were promoted back to Serie A.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 92:

S.L. Benfica away, 2013/14.

One for @ThePedronator, this was worn by The Eagles as they won both the Portuguese League and Cup, and is quite clearly an absolute belter. 9/10.

@homeshirts1 @TheKitmanUK
Day 93:

Argentina home, 2014.

Worn by Argentina in the World Cup in 2014, where they finished runner-up to Germany after an Extra Time winner by Mario Götze.
