CRC is our response to the already dire need of our houseless and marginalized communities in North East so-called Seattle combined with the purposeful and willfully negligent State in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic.
We want to hope the CV19 pandemic will be over quickly but we also must plan for the worst, a long haul fight over many weeks.
This is a strategic moment for us. it is a chance to secure a strategic stockpile of basic needs supplies for our whole community.

we can, in theory, help in our own small way to flatten the curve by thinking ahead and bulking up our supplies early and then ensure continual access to hygiene and preventative supplies for our local houseless community.
by making sure at-risk people are reliably provided access to the material to keep themselves cleaner and healthier, we might keep some of our neighbors out of the ICU.
We currently have Street Relief, our first CRC program, running in our neighborhood 4 days a week, 2 hours a day from Noon to 2 PM.
This program is a collaborative effort between the advanced wing of our houseless community and our committe.

Street Relief is a cold lunch a snack pack and whatever basic needs supplies we have available.
Ideally we would like both bulk up this program with more comprehensive and reliable packs of supplies AND expand to a biweekly basic needs give away for the local low income housing

How can I help?
It depends on how you want to help! we have lots of options.
At the free level, simply sharing our media, our updates and our wishlist with folks on your own social media platforms can really help. Ideally, everyone would do this step.

There is only one way in to working with our formation and its to bribe your way in by organizing a supply drive with your own community and organizing its deliver to our drop off point in Lake City.
