BALLOON GLITCH ISSUE: What I'm seeing is if you pop 300 balloons & redeem the nook mile reward, BALLOONS CEASE TO SPAWN which prevents u from getting sky eggs, bunny day recipes and sakura blossom recipes. If you have reached 300 balloons DO NOT REDEEM THE RAINING TREASURE MILES
If this glitch affects you or will be affecting you etc. PLEASE TELL @NintendoAmerica / @animalcrossing TO FIX IT, the best way is likely calling if you are able: 1 (800) 255-3700 (Press 1 for switch then 0 for live agent).

There's conflicting info about if the achievement claiming helps or not. It may be linked to if your character is the primary player (resident rep) or not. Situation is still unclear.. my advice until nintendo patches, prioritize popping plain balloons for sakura recipes maybe...
Did the bunny day update bring new mystery island layouts? I've been on three today and they were all brand new, very complex and not exploitable for DIY tarantulas. One good use for the bunny day eggs is emergency tree moving rations. Eat one and it acts like fruit but it can be stacked 30 deep instead of 10. Good for people in the midst of terraforming their islands right around now!

The game also tries to save about every three minutes, if they don’t drop their side of the trade and try to stall for time protect yourself and sleep your switch to get your items back. Animal crossing is a wholesome game but not every person is a wholesome player

Fishing in a group (ANY SIZE, 2 OK) will give you a 10 point bonus per round if you can catch 5 collectively at least (easy peasy!) WAY FASTER!!!

Here is how the fishing tourney group fishing works, we were in a 3 person group and I only caught 4 fish, but i got 16 points!
Normally I would only get 6 points (4 + 2pt bonus) but fishing with other people let me get 10 whole extra points! (5pt 5-fish bonus + 5pt group bonus)

If you can get even just two people, fishing in a group is WAY more worth it for the free 10 points per round! Getting 300 fish for the gold trophy will be super fast and not to mention all the prizes! Group up!!
For whatever reason this seems like a difficult concept for people to grasp or communicate: stuff like zipper bobbleheads sell for a lot because ***ALL DIY ITEMS sell for 2x their raw material sell prices*** Bobblehead costs 24 eggs, so 24*(2*200) = 9600, it's not special.
The wand sells for 11,100 bells because it costs a bobblehead (9600) and three star frags!!! (3*(2*250)) = 11,000, don't waste your fragments making wands to sell because fragments re worth more than a measly 500 bells to other players!!!!!!!!!!!!

Store your tools on the BOTTOM row so your inventory isn't in shambles every time a tool breaks and u still play and pick up new things! While it doesn't save a lot of time it saves a lot of mental energy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Question for anyone who has a perfect town, does placing "clutter" (materials, anything "dropped") on top of a table count as clutter still? Or does anything dropped even if on top of another object count as trash on the ground? I just want to keep some materials outside! :(

Mostly true, only thing off is the times are determined by when you check. If you for example check every hour from 8am onward, you may have them 8-11, 11-1, 2-4. Check later and they will be crafting into the night as late as 8 or 9pm or more. https://twitter.com/eggloaf/status/1250603495092174849
It's a lil complex to explain in a tweet but from my crafting log sheet, each animal will craft for about 2-3 hours and the game will always have one animal crafting so long as you have NOT hit the 3 animal limit, but they will craft for 2-3 hours. So, 12-3, 3-6, 6-9 is possible
Essentially from early testing I've logged, no matter when you play the game, so long as you can check into your town and with every villager inside, 3 times a day, separated roughly 3 hours a part, you will get 3 DIY recipes. They are not determined by time blocks otherwise.

Okay so the DIY recipes u get from villagers through out the day ARE linked to personality, I excised the datamined info from the megasheet we all know about into its own sheet so it loads faster + only has recipes linked to villagers, whew! I dropped my mats back down on benches and it dropped my rating back to 4-star, so bench or table won't matter. No point in elevating diy recipes or mats, it will not save you. I have 12 items dropped benches/floor & 5-star right now that i know of. There may be more I missed.

OH here's the datamine info!!! It's true, each personality does have a subtype! It's under column K "interests" OMG!! That's why apollo sings and dances so much, he's a subtype "music" for cranky. upon closer inspection, interests may also just refer to their most common default animations too, because when u sort the sheet by personality, each personality has more than just two interests? And no one ATM knows what the other columns refer to (normal/avoid, stop/tie, etc)
