LXC lost his new phone, while trying to figure out what happened to it a photo showed up on his icloud that is linked to the phone.. It seems someone is using it.

Meanwhile WWX got JC a replacement for his broken phone courtesy

from NHS.

What odds could it be that JC photos are showing up on LXC acc?

JC worked on LXC suit, for a week he was off and on his phone but it still did not stop him from dropping random updates to LXC. Their talk is rare for a day due to busy schedules but it was enough to motivate him from making this as good as possible.

The next day JC already prepared the suit, placed in a box and carefully packed with a paperbag that had his brand name on it. For some reason he was nervous, he didn't really was screw this up.

The bell rang indicating a new customer and JC head turned to see who it was

Unfortunately it was not the one he was expecting.

"Are you that excited waiting for Mr. Grab?" A-Qing asked with a mischievous smile on her face like the little devil she is.

"No, and don't call him that can you?" the bell once again made a noise and this time LXC walked in

"Mr. Lan" JC greeted and LXC smiled at him handing him the same milk tea that he bought for him last time.

"I told you to just call me Xichen" he chuckled.

"Ah, right Lan Xichen.. Here you go" JC handed him the bag while he took the milk tea from the other.

"Im excited to use this" he looked at him and JC nodded. They stared at each other for a while before Lan Xichen chuckled and took a step back. "I should be going now" he turned around to leave however - -

"Lan Xichen wait!" JC called him.

LXC blinked and he slowly turned around, Did JC wanted him to stay?! Because if he does he is more than willing to do so.

"Uhm.."

Go on, tell me to stay!

"Uhm.. Your payment? You haven't paid yet" JC gave him a half smile gesturing at the suit.

"Oh.. Right"

A-Qing snorted so loud she excused herself and LXC handed JC his card with his cheeks flaming with embarrassment.

"Thanks, try to fit it later just see if it is to your liking and if there is any adjustments you want to do so we could work it out" JC runs his card.

"Thanks I hope you will like it"

"Yeah.. I will.. I will" LXC turned around to leave.

"Lan Xichen"

"Yes?"

"Your card?" he waved the card and LXC smiled snatching it away from him.

Gods! What is going on with him?! He definitely should leave.

"Ill see you next time"

Jiang Cheng was not joking when he said LXC would every designer's muse. Those broad shoulder, slim waist.. JC could list them all.

He actually felt proud when he saw his work being worn by that man. For now he didn't bother him and perhaps he would just send a message tomorrow

The next morning JC was surprised to see two e-mails, opening it he blinked. There are four clients inquiring about his work, and they are not just any clients they seemed to be big names in the business industry.

"Fuck"

He immediately messaged LXC.

JC shouldn't feel this excited but he was somehow looking forward to it. He stared at his phone before a small smile crossed on his lips and he stood up looking at his two employees.

"Who wants milk tea? My treat?"

-The not really date day-

Jiang Cheng arrived at the cafe that they decided to meet up. He didn't know why he was a little nervous, he was just here to help him for his book. Yes it's all for the book, he shouldn't think too much about it.

When the clock hit 2pm the bell on the door rang indicating a new customer and LXC arrived. He was wearing a white button up shirt, three buttons undone to show a patch of his skin. JC immediately looked away.

"Right on time" JC called out and LXC chuckled as he sat down across him.

"Its a little traffic thankfully I managed to get on time" he smiled and JC nodded, calling for the waitress they both placed their orders.

"So... How is this gonna go?" JC asked as they waited for their food and LXC blinked before showing him his phone and a list was there.

"So I did research about the ideal dates"

JC looked at the list and his brows raised at these.. sappy and romantic dates.

"Okay? Well I'll just have to come with you right? And look around for couples or something?" JC asked and LCX chuckled.

"I was expecting to experience it first hand though"

The waitress appeared with their food and JC blinked.

"So... This is a date? A fake date or something?" JC raised a brow and LXC stared at him.

"Sort of"

JC frowned, he didn't understand why he suddenly got upset about it. So yeah this isn't like a date /date/ he is just helping him to experience these dates.. Thats all!

JC discarded those thoughts away and when their food is served they fell in a comfortable small talks. JC is not complaining especially there is a cake in front of him.

LXC showed him some of his works, and JC took note of his pen name. Zewu-jun... Its familiar.

When he realized why it was familiar he wanted to facepalm so hard. A-Qing had been reading his works before, she had all his books and was her favourite author.

He couldn't wait to spoil A-Qing the fact that she called Zewu-jun a grab driver.

"She would literally flip if she found out" He chuckled, imagining her reaction.

"Do I really look like a grab driver? Should I be insulted?" LXC asked taking a sip from his milkshake.

"Nah, you are too handsome to be a grab driver" JC waved his hand unaware that

His praise made the other flush.

"So, Jiang Cheng thinks Im handsome?"

"... What-- I didnt.."

"You said so just a minute ago" LXC smiled seeing JC cheeks staring to change color.

"Well.. I mean, yes. You do look handsome.. You had a great frame.. And body.. Of course im saying this from a designer's perspective!" he gestured at him before focusing on his cake.

"What about from Jiang Cheng’s perspective?"

".. Meh.. So.. So" he murmured and stabbed the piece of cake before shoving it on his mouth so it could be occupied with something and he can stop spewing shit.

"If you say so.. I think Jiang Cheng is very attractive, that's from Lan Xichen's perspective by the way"

LXC smiled at him, there was a teasing lilt on his voice before he turned to finish his egg tart.

JC huffed and looked away, before he fumbled for his phone under the table.

JC and LXC left the cafe.

JC swore his braincells will decrease its count by the end of the day. While he was having some inner panic earlier LXC chose that time to reach out and wipe the icing off they corner of his lips.

He nearly dropped his phone.

"Dont surprise me like that again" JC muttered under his breath as they walked side by side.

"Well doesn't lovers do that kind of stuff?"

"Haha.. This is just a play date, you are taking it too seriously" JC shook his head

"What if.. I wanted it to be a real date?" LXC asked and JC paused blinking at him.

"What?"

"I said what if I wanted this to be a real date.. Between us?"
