I thought I’d share some of my fave spots for food and other things. Add your own, I’d love to see them.

Best burrito in town is @Rostizado_yeg they tossed it on the take out menu. Haven’t had anything interesting like it since hitting the taco truck in Oakland in college.

Speaking of Mexican food, Juan and Angie @callemexicofood have fantastic tacos. Genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
They’ve closed two locations and are working back to back for orders out of their DT location.

Wine wise, @EdmontonWineGuy has put together packages of Italian wine from small producers in a region that is having a real tough go.
. @ItalianCentre have always been friends and have all kinds of things to keep your pantry full.
Working the weekends at Global gave me a unique privilege to meet all these people and people like them. There are way more great spots out there. Some people can’t help right now, but remember these places when you can.
Looking forward to your suggestions.

Also, a couple non food and drink ideas:
I’ve been burning through my collection from @myoozik the last few days. They’re doing cool things online right now.

I rock some @LikeGrandpa beard balm every morning to tame the mane. Spearmint to be exact. What are you using?
Speaking of the mane. No haircuts right now but I’m thinking of Noel and Mary at Barber on Whyte. Great people, famous for cutting @vineshpratap hair.
And Maria at Grizly Barber does a great job. Check her out when you can.

Recently got this suit from @MrDerk1939 Always treat you like you’re Daniel Craig.
No one is going to any galas any time soon, but if you’re doing some retail therapy. They’re doing some cool things via mobile.

Here’s one I haven’t even visited yet. Clo’s General. Check the Instagram. I’ve asked for a bag for my birthday. Not sure I’m cool enough to go in there yet.
Anyway, our city is full of some bad ass small businesses. A big part of our community. We all know that, but let’s not forget either.
