Had an idea, folks. I know lots of people are looking for reading material right now. What do you say we try and compile a list of authors (both indie and trad-pubbed!) who offer free books or short stories on their websites, in exchange for email signups, etc.?

Authors, drop the link to your free book(s) in this thread, along with any others you know of - and readers, share links to your favorite authors' freebies too!
Just FYI, what I had in mind was not books that are only free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers or temporarily free, but books/stories consistently free to everybody. Permafree on retailers is fine!
