ok i wanna talk about given again real quick
the show obviously handles queer discussions amazingly. but i also love how mafuyu is heavily autistic-coded. i know it isn& #39;t explicitly stated, but, whether it was intentional or not, it& #39;s legitimately fantastic representation.

i know making assumptions about things like this when it isn& #39;t known for sure is venturing into dangerous territory, and i know that it& #39;s relatively likely that it wasn& #39;t even something that the creators had in mind. but it struck me as something worth noting and celebrating.
i just found this really good article about it written by a person with autism, and i highly encourage you to read it, especially if you didn& #39;t pick up on the cues and/or haven& #39;t considered the meaningfulness of autistic representation in media. https://www.animefeminist.com/perspectives-playing-my-song-queer-autistic-representation-in-given/">https://www.animefeminist.com/perspecti...
