I don't know who needs to hear this, but you're allowed to be disappointed about something being cancelled or delayed because of the pandemic

You can know intellectually that social distancing is more important right now, and still be sad about missing things
[Death, COVID-19]

It's hard to intellectually comprehend thousands of deaths, much less the potential for like...11 million deaths

Missing out on something you were looking forward to is a scale we can more easily comprehend
This of course becomes harder the more the pandemic spreads, because it affects literally everything

It's also harder on social media

So maybe you want to save your venting for DMs or preface it by saying you know it's not that big of a deal, but. IDK
Just...a big thing I struggle with wrt my bipolar and autism is feeling like I'm having The Wrong Thoughts

So for anyone else with similar problems:
You're not bad or wrong for having feelings about missing out on something important or fun
tl;dr we don't have to play some sort of Oppression Olympics: Pandemic Edition
