hey all, i’m just starting out at making art despite being interested in it for a very long time, so i’m going to start a thread of the piece of art i make every day during quarantine:

(i made this today but i thought about it yesterday) march 17th, st patricks day!
a shamrock made with markers and pens, on sketch paper

day 2, march 18th: watercolors and pen on watercolor paper, some flower inspiration taken from @/emjlefebvre on instagram

yesterday, march 19th, i started this sketch of eyes, i included the reference i pulled off google, multiple sites have the artwork so i’m not sure who it really belongs to :(
hopefully i will finish it tomorrow

day 4, march 20th: i didn’t do any art today but i did do a craft, i made gel candles with a @HobbyLobby kit

day 5, march 21st: i painted waves, i’m really happy with how this one turned out
some inspiration taken from @kelogsloops , but i mostly did my own thing

day 6, march 23rd: a simple cartoon eye done with markers on sketch paper from @beejaydel ‘s video on how to draw cartoon eyes:

nothing for day 7, not for any particular reason just never got around to it,
day 8, march 24th, brings some poor watercolor flowers (i like the first one, the rest are chaotic) in my cool new panorama watercolor sketchbook

day 8 part 2, aka making up for not doing anything yesterday: a light and messy watercolor cat from @yongchen1

day 9, march 25th: surprise surprise more watercolor flowers, from @ShaydaCampbell video i followed:
also shoutout to @hoecatastrophe who hung out with me via facetime while i painted

day 10, march 26th: nothing special today, just doodled with a multi color colored pencil i got in toronto, this doodle was inspired by @HATCH_ART ‘s art print that was featured in this months @ScrawlrBox
hopefully later this week i’ll do a proper illustration w the box contents

day 11, march 27th: some digital hand lettering for ya, tutorial by my favorite, @Floortjesart (tutorial i followed: )
done on iphone 7+ with @Procreate and @wacom bamboo fineline stylus

day 12, march 29th: followed a tutorial from my favorite traditional art youtuber, @DrawWiffWaffles (tutorial i followed: ) and used my gold gel pen to do some quick sketches of some of the stickers on my laptop

day 13, march 29th: finally an original drawing with no references! a did a #fourcolorchallenge where you pick four colors at random and see what you can create

day 14, march 30th: no art today BUT i did bake brownies, they were from a box so no skill required but whatever they were good

day 15, march 31st: watercolor with #vivivacolorsheets from @/vivivacolors on insta, part of a @ScrawlrBox, with @KaseyTheGolden as the featured artists who drew the print i colored

day 16, april 1st: an original watercolor painting of a photo i took
proud of this one because i did it all on my own, and i used my own photo for reference

day 17, got nothin for ya, however day 18, april 3rd, brings us a poor sketch i did quickly with the first picture to pop up on my instagram

day 18 part 2, making up for missing yesterday: some @poscauk paint pen flowers to make use of the back of the last page that marker bled through

gonna keep it real i have an EXTENSIVE history of getting too into things and burning myself out SO i made my two week goal and i’m not gonna force myself to create everyday, but i will update this thread when i do make something, HOWEVERRRR i’m feeling inspired rn so see u soon?
