A few hours of sunlight and the light pink starts to appear. As you can see from the far shot, the tree is still fairly sparse. At its floweronf peak, it gets so dense you can't see the internal branches at all. #CherryBlossoms #CherryBlossomDaily

Cold weather is keeping the trees from fully blooming, so there are still large clusters of unopened bulbs everywhere. Also, first photographer of the year. Usually the street is swarming with photogs and models and families at this point. #CherryBlossoms #CherryBlossomDaily

Today the sun came out and the trees are in full bloom. That means lots of photographers, lots of slowly driving cars, lots of beautiful trees. Crazy to think when we bought this house we didn't know about the trees! #CherryBlossoms #CherruBlossomDaily

Forgot to post yesterday! Today the flowers are fully open and the whole street smells of a sweet and subtle perfume. Now begins the final stage of the #CherryBlossom bloom, what our toddler calls "pink snow." Stay tuned! #CherryBlossoms #CherryBlossomDaily

The trees are starting to turn white now. Like puffy clouds growing on the ground. Can't help but think of them as fake plastic trees, they look so out of place, but they are very real. #cherryblossoms #cherryblossomdaily
