Thread - Inspired by @AntMacNCheese and his 1k+ goalscorer on #FM20 I've started a new save to see if I can get an original player to do the same on my own save.

For this challenge, I've gone with @kaiojorgeramos at Santos

I've just finished the first season and he managed to score 78 goals in 64 games

Not a bad return for someone in their debut season and playing in a team that isn't the one I want. I need to bring a few new additions in and shift some deadwood on before I can see him hitting 100+ goals a season. He's seen some insane development on his attributes this season.

I've not had time to play much the last day or so. But I've just managed to finish the State Championships and the lad is on fire so far this season #FM20

He literally scores in every single game he plays #FM20

In 14 months of playing he has 115 goals already. Only another 885 to hit 1k.

If you look under the dynamics section of his profile above you'll see he was thinking about joining a bigger club (possibly). So to protect myself just gave him a new contract and added an optional clause for an extra year

Things are still progressing well. But already this season he's missed 2 games due to injury and 12 others because of International call ups. He still has 59 goals in 41 appearances though

Out of the 109 games he has played so far, he's only failed to score in 2 of them #BeastMode

Getting him to score goals isn't as simple as it sounds because he gets called up for international games an awful lot. To give you an idea, here are the games he's been called up for so far

At the end of the second season he scored 75 in 54 appearances

Kaio Jorge is on fire this season so far. 37 goals in 21 games #FM20

In the 151st game of his career, he has just scored goal number 200 and 201st.

Which takes him to 46 goals in 27 appearances for the season so far

He's just scored his 250th goal in 185 appearances. Still a few games left of the third season to play.

Just finished the third season and he was so close to scoring 100 goals but was just short in the end. He managed to score 91 in 60 appearances. He missed 26 games this season too.........

10 games into season 3 and to say its started fantastic is an understatement. I think this should be his first 100 goal season.

The States are over with now and these sort of numbers will make @AntMacNCheese proud

I didn't realise he now has 303 career goals so far.

He's just scored his 71st goal of the season

There are 5 months of the season left for Kaio to score 22 goals to break the 100 goal barrier for this season.

Just finished the season. Kaio scored 117 goals in 65 appearances. He's now scored 369 goals in 254 games

I give him a new contract every season to fend off interest from European clubs. I always ensure there is a clause for an extra year too

I thought he'd had a slow start to the current season scoring 8 in 5 games which is a bad season based on his ratio usually. Then he just pulls this out of the bag to make it 14 in 6 games

Things have picked up now. He's just scored his 398th, 399th, 400th and 401st career goals in a 6-0 victory. That takes him to 32 for the season in 15 games. He's scored 4 hattricks in his last 10 games and 4 braces. #FM20

If he carries on his current scoring form for the next few seasons and is injury-free, then he'll break 1k goals scored between 26-28 easily. Which would be insane!

I've not played FM for a while. But played a few games today. Currently, he has 59 goals in 30 games. 428 goals in 284 games so far. Not far from the half waypoint

He's just scored his 85th goal of the season in 45 games. He should break 100+ again this season.

That's the 5th season finished. He's just scored 112 goals in 68 appearances. Which means he's scored 483 in 322 games #FM20

Kaio missed 7 games so far this season so it'll be a struggle to get him to 100. However when he returned from international duty he was on fire
