One of most timeless messages in any country tune. This was a song that made me want to play guitar.

Day 17 of quarantine:

“Man of Constant Sorrow” written by Dick Burnett back around 1913.

It’s been recorded countless times over by the likes of Bob Dylan, the Stanley Brothers and probably most famously Dan Tyminski in “O Brother Where art Thou?”
Bonus Tweet tonight. Me and a couple of great friends re-enacted the final scene of “O brother where art thou” for the OSU Greek Variety Show. Guitar, Banjo, washtub bass and a jug. We had the whole deal!
