NJ Gov updatung, saying after more testing currently 1,327 total infections and now 16 deaths. Says as more tests are done, likely more infections will emerge. Believes "community spread" is major culprit.
Gov has signed exec order for nearly 9M New Jersians to "stay at home" (shelter in place). Means no gatherings (weddings, parties, etc). Warns against underground gatherings. 9pm is closing time for all "vital" biz. All other biz must close and allow work from home.
Stay at home order allows residents to go out (exercise, groceries, etc) but must do social distancing, 6 ft. Otherwise "stay at home," Gov says. Gives nod to small biz but says we must do this to protect residents.
