Fuck it, I'm gonna keep a running list of all the #content I ingest during the self isolation period. Why? Cuz it's fun to share and we will all need recommendations of how to stay busy after a while.
First up, started S2 of Dark this weekend. I can't believe I didn't start watching this show sooner.
Garden of Words (dir. Makota Shinkai, 2013)
A Bigger Splash (dir. Luca Guadagnino, 2015)

Ralph Fiennes is fun. Watch things with Ralph Fiennes.
Late Spring (Yasujirō Ozu, 1949)

As good a time as any to revisit Ozu, one of the greatest of all time.
Land of the Lost (2009)

I love this stupid fucking movie so much. It’s my birthday. I don’t care.
MXC (2003)

Kenny: “Now would be a great time for some streaming network to reboot this show. It’d be quarantine gold!”

Vic: “Right you are, Ken.”
A Fistful of Dollars (dir. Sergio Leone, 1964)

👊 💴 💵 💰

I could watch Clint Eastwood chew scenery and shoot bad guys in the old west all day. During quarantine, maybe I will!
For a Few Dollars More (dir. Sergio Leone, 1965)

💵💵💵
Lee Van Cleef in this is my spirit animal.
Shaun of the Dead (dir. Edgar Wright, 2004)

“Go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.”

Wish I could follow this advice right now #COVIDー19
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (dir. Sergio Leone, 1967)

It’s day whatever of quarantine and I am capital-T Thirsting for 1960s Clint Eastwood
Lady Bird (dir. Greta Gerwig, 2017)

Pretty much perfect. 2017 was a super strong year
Tiger King (2020)

Yep, we watched the documentary about the crazy tiger people. At least I understand the jet ski meme now.
You know what?

I think this list needs more gay.
To that end...

Brokeback Mountain (dir. Ang Lee, 2005)

To paraphrase the final line: “Heath, I swear...”
Obviously my drunk ass watched Coco last night. Gotta add it to the list no matter how many wine wasted tweets I made.

Coco (dir. Lee Unkrich, 2017).
Highlander (dir. Russell Mulcahy, 1986)

Did a Zoom viewing of Highlander this weekend MST3K style. There is no better way to watch it. This movie is absurd.
Rashomon (dir. Akira Kurosawa, 1950)

Back of the Japanese film grind. A classic.
Onward (dir. Dan Scanlon, 2020)

Not top tier Pixar, but enjoyable enough without ever reaching the heights of some of their other recent movies.
Might as well add Westworld to this thread, since at this point I'm committed to finishing Season 3 no matter how absurd it is getting.
