This was Fabio's girlfriend, Filo. We used to call her "the pastry pig". She would eat ANYTHING, & was constantly lunging for food. She even used to lick the salt off my arm if I'd been exercising

A little personal update on the #PigOfTheDay thread:
Just want to say a big thank you to the vets still working in all this - 1 did a video call with my mum today to check on Giorgio, who's had a bit of diarrhoea & has a bald patch...

...it seems he might have a bit of bloat after too much time outside eating grass, & the bald patch is a bit of self-harm because of his discomfort 
We know he's a really sensitive little boy - but my family are keeping an eye, giving him
& we'll see how he gets on!!

This was Little Black Pig - yes, that was her name! She was a weird pig, very animated with other pigs, but scared stiff of humans. She didn't have much personality, but she liked licking faces! I loved her single white paw!

While I was at high school, I had Aero! She lived the longest of any pig I've had (7 years!) & was very clever. She would do full laps of the garden, back when I lived in Chesterfield. Her laziness in this pic is deceiving!

Alongside Aero, I had Twink! (One of the few pigs that didn't have a name ending with an 'o'!)

So an update on Giorgio! He had to be seen by a physical vet, but they did tremendous work, collected him from the car to maintain social distancing.
He's got suspected diabetes(!) so he's got some meds & a change of diet & my parents are seeing how he gets on the next few days!

Today's #PigOfTheDay is another fabulous boar I had, Hugo! He was such a wonderful little boy, with a wonderful personality; very much loved. He lived with ladies & when he got excited, that little pink ear blushed!

Sadly, it's bad news this morning, we lost our lovely boy

Here's the Oro pig being a very good girl after we bathed her one summer! We only bathe the piggies when it's warm, & even then not often. Was necessary with long-haired pigs, but some pigs we've had have loved it!
